Indoor ICU#2 And ALF#3

Good afternoon/evening, where ever you are at.

Had some time to get some photos. I have got in 2 waterings with amended kettle vinigar/water mix..
I am going to jump on the band wagon and say there is a benefit to it. They have exploded in the last couple days. I'll keep the jabber short and get on with the eye candy.

Here is a group shot of the ones i am certain are females. Alot has gone on since the last group photo

I have begun to transplant the ones i think are female. In order to let them keep growing a bit before they fully start to bud. Mdanzig talks about transplanting in time to "capture" the plant. Your trying to capture the veg proccess. You are in time if you get it in before you see alot of pre flowers. I can find the females usually before any show me a hair. You just have to know how to spot the males. Since they will always show before the females.
Anyways...
This pheno is ALF#3 different from the rest FOR SURE!!!! Look at that one stripe there. THRIPS!!!! Well i dunno... i haven't seen any more of it, but i've got some spray ready. however i do have some gnats poping up.

This is the only other one i have in a bag so far. It is ICU#2. Very leggy this one. Taller than everything else. I have it like 4 inches from the light right now to "try" and get her to settle down a bit.

I am also using extreme raised transplanting this run. You can kinda see it there.

And now for the bull pen!

This stud here is next level. Stinks really good, and the vigor.. above and beyond every seed i started this run. I have no choice but to use him. I am am going to pair him with another just incase. But he is looking veryyyy nice..

Here is a group of the ICU#2 males. Bottle so wiz can judge size. Far left is my other choice, STINKS!!! Like more than allllll the others.. That fresh pot smell to the max.

Last but not least here are the ALF#3 males... I have no idea yet who is getting the keep. But the one bottom left is looking good to me. Thick leathery type leaves. I got alot of ALF males to choose from 3 more to the ones here. Going to do a cull here soon.

Well the ICU's are for sure bigger at this age than the last time i ran them. Not much changes in my routine run from run. This is the only thing that has changed other than a shit ph pen.

The alf's i haven't run before. I think wiz's are bigger compared to mine at the same age. However, mine are also hurting more from my bad ph pen. Once we get into flower i'll make a call for sure, since i will be amending a larger amount of water. Right now i am putting maybe.. a tsp into 8 liters of water. then i bubbled it over night. The litmus paper says i am about 6.5 ish.. I have lime in my bags, so if i go a bit lower i am still ok.

I am looking forward to getting a new pen so i can see how much i can really get in there.

It's all that cal that cleaned out of the kettle i am really after.. It's like liquid cal! Mix some epsom in there you got your own cal/mag lol. Never tired that.. Maybe i will test that out.

Here is 5 days ago, before i did ANY waterings with the vinegar. Keep in mind i haven't fed them anything. Nor is there anything in seedling cups in terms of manuer or compost.

Just the size bigger they got in the time. It's not like the put on 3 nodes in 5 days but they sure got just BIGGER

check your run off..Could be a bit acidic..
they seem to be attracted to acid run-off..

The White Russian in ICU#2 is a taller plant than JEM...WR (20 inch) JEM (14 inch).
If she is taller than the others..probably WR dom.
Grab her.

IMO..this is gonna be the really skunky/durty afghan tasting one..probably White bud..
But..
watch the centre..if you see the inner small leaves starting to develop a slightly orange tinge..it Could colour up.

IF you have a matching fem..
keep her seed seperate to the rest..this is a taste/strength pheno that you can put into other crosses that lack a bit of woomph..
you see that pheno coming up in my girls all the time.
Recognise it by the very spidery finger leaves in the centre bud.

Looks like the Ultra Indy pheno..they Stink....it has a lovely structure..I would use it....

But..you gotta remember it will probably pump up the grow smell..
nothing covert about this pheno..
one of My Favourites though..

I'd grow..and take more smell precuations.

But the one bottom left is looking good to me. Thick leathery type leaves. I got alot of ALF males to choose from 3 more to the ones here. Going to do a cull here soon.

That looks to me like a Strong Colour pheno..time will tell.

Also..the one to the right of it...liking that one too.

For your cull victims...Do a leaf finger count on them...exclude any anomolies for this first go...look for Perfects

Also..try matching the male finger numbers with the Fems finger numbers.
5 to 5.....7 to 7..etc..
it will give you stability faster first time round.

check Size against FullD's girls in his party cup grows.

I've noticed this as well... bugs in general seem to be attracted to the acid .. especially the vinegar. EVEN the Lady's Ladies

From 15 seeds i only got 2 males from this run of ICU. That nice one, and one that looks similar but isn't as tall. I was going to use those 2 to make some beans. I have a couple females that are really indica looking.

I was thinking the same, that dark vein in the middle of the 3 finger leaf made me think colour. You are 100% spot on. That male is showing some purple allready. I'll get some pics of it next update. There are actually 2 of them that have color. I think i might just keep the colored ones seperate from the whites. And do a seperate pollenation.

You should have seen the roots on this one, a mass of white on the bottom. I don't see it like that too often.

Yup...and the leaf stem...
(FullD is gonna develop a complex.)

If you can..use some and freeze some..always handy for adding a little colour to any other crosses.

Oh..I predict you will see a lot more now you have found the miracle water...the root health goes through the roof..
And..
if you look after the roots..the plant looks after itself.

I can't wait..I Think every breeder actually breeds different..so it is great seeing alternative minds in action...
