I tried some LST and she bounced back overnight. Should I have tied her down more aggressively?

LST using cheap wire .

That's really impressive work. Do you pinch the stems? How does LST'ing without ties work?

I use binder clips on the edge of the pot with pipe cleaners to LST - if the stem is a bit thick, I roll it between my thumb and two fingers to soften up the fibre a bit to make it easier to bend. If ya accidentally partially break a stem, I've used duct tape a few times to mend it and that works.

And day 35 of my current CK -started lst around day 21 if i recall right. Just to open the plant up a bit for better light

I just spread em part, tie em down I try and get as much of the main stalk in the light as possible. I don’t roll them or pinch them or anything. Not that there’s anything wrong with it. I think pinching and rubbing etc are technically the right way.

I start mine at 2 weeks. The only time I roll or pinch is the main stem if it needs it. I anchor it at the soil to one side and bend the opposite way.

When I tie the main line I always leave it a little big to grow into. Once it’s as big as the hole I made in the wire it will support itself.

Any tips for how to awkwardly tie down the other branches now? Because she's so far off to one side, I'm not sure I can tie them down without hurting them.

I came at her a little harder and tied down some more branches since she recovered so well.

When would I want to stop tying them down? I've heard that they can get rigid during flower.

By the time they get rigid it will be done growing up and you don’t have to keep tying. I do leave mine tied just to keep the buds spaced out. But I don’t have to keep doing it after a certain point.

Since mine's been growing a bit, should I be adjusting the light height lower? Manufacturer (MH TS-1000) says it should be 18 - 24 at veg and 12 during flower, but it's at like 28 for me. They don't show any signs of stretch, and the only stress I could think of would be heat.
