Before adding nutrients, my water is about 49 ppm. I just know I have a tads meter, not sure about the type. How can you tell? The plants do not look bad. A little tip burn. Do you have a Hanna or Truncheon scale TDS meter? What is the PPM of your water before adding nutrients?

That is a Hanna scale meter or many refer to it as a "500" meter. So subtract your starting water 49 PPM (Lucky You) from 1600 means your nutes are 1551 Hanna or 3.1 EC and yeah that is high. The great thing about DWC is you can fix it easily But instead of diluting it I would have done a reservoir change and drop your top off water to 20% strength and see how that goes. The reason the PPM went up is most likely the plant is drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.View attachment 935071 I have this one.
Thanks Need! I am going to need it. Going up to triple digits again this week. This is going to be another test in how hot the air temps can get, while the roots are chilled.
Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not a plant can become LESS tolerant to heat as it grows? I am hoping it is the opposite, and that the plant just becomes more tolerant as it grows.
Thanks for the encouragement, Kreature! Would be great to finally smoke my own bud!
