New Grower I probably should have waited until fall...

I just changed the reservoir before temps got too high. I have about 75% strength of micro, grow, and bloom, with a little b-52. Man, I love this ph perfect formula. I did check the ph after mixing and it was a perfect 5.8, just like last time. It slowly increased to 6.0, when I changed today. Pretty soon, I will forget about my ph pen!

Any way, temps are back down to 66 degrees and res is at 1000 ppms right now. That is the highest to been so I will watch. I have plain phed water on hand to fix if need be. Here are the root pics,

Day 25

Looking great man, you'll be packing jars with frosty nugs in no time.

Just be sure to get the next run started a couple weeks before this one ends. I always feel silly with a massive light burning over nothing but a few sprouts.

You might also try getting some additional air or fan to blow across that LED. I have my 30W Monkey Fan(thing rocks grow after grow)blowing straight across the lights I have. I am running five different led's totaling over 650w at the wall that almost all except the cob has additional ventilation,,but I still run the fan to keep the heat in check in the summer with two circulation fans below and the big exhaust fan( no filter). Even with the grow room temps approaching 31 degrees Celsius, the room and girls stay in the safe zone.
If you use the VPD chart or vapor pressure deficit chart, it will show you where your relative humidity should be so the transpiration rate( rate the plants drink) is in the sweet spot. I always use this chart and have never had issues.

If you want any more help, just let me know, or there is tons about VPD out there! Girls still looking fine. Keep going:greenthumb:

Thanks Med! You have some good nuggets of info in here. So, you have the fan blowing across the top of the LED fixture? How much does that cool under the canopy you think. I have a six inch fan blowing directly below the light, but can easily add one on top if it will help.

AlsoI haven't heard of VPD before. With the heat, my humidity is pretty low. I am sure I am not anywhere near the sweet spot. What can folks in my situation do to increase rh, without investing in a humifier or spending a ton of maintenance time?

Here's to jars full of frosty nugs! Will be my first jar!

Med, here is my fan I mentioned. It is actually clipped to the led but blowing below. Would adding another blowing across the top make a big temp difference?

Just put it in position where it can blow just under your lights, but also slightly hitting them as well if you get what I mean. The extra air passing by both cools the leds and adds that circulation you want across the canopy. Yes, it's does mean that you have to move the entire setup up and down to get it just right, but it is really worth it. The little details is what makes the difference.

As far as the RH...wet towels and a bucket of water will help add moisture to the air, but a humidifier can be bought at Walmart for like 50 bucks. Not too much to pay to take care of the ladies. You can manage without, you just will be a little more labor intensive. As long as it's a labor of ove, and we all know that this is. I spend a lot of time in my grow room with a smile on my face ( well that is where all the meds are, so it's kind of happy place for any one who visits there.

Pretty heavily medicated right now on some excellent auto Night queen(sweet phenotype), tastes like strawberry rocket fuel :pass:

You are going to have some pretty diesel fuel stuff yourself there. I grew that strain. It can get very potent and tasty. Also great daytime smoke, where as this Night Queen is mega indica and sleepy time couch lock, so I harvested this particular plant about 10 days before the trichomes were really there. Just one or two ambers poking there heads out and I took her. Just so I can be semi functional. Otherwise she will knock you out. Definitely one i recommend.
Wow, ok,yeah. I am a little buzzed look at this long winded nothingness!:hookah:
