Grow Room I need some help!

Awesome plants dude :clap: I wish I had the freedom. So is it safe too say this box is too small and that's what is causing the crazy temps? There are other factors I could tweak, but your right about the waste of time. It would be nice to step it up a little though thanks man, I'll prob start a new thread once I get this sorted out. @ Villain Yes unfortunately.. @ Blue yeah I def need to rig a fan of some sort @ bud head yeah I can dig it, I'm just bored though. Plus believe me, if I could have it my way my entire house would be a jungle lol but this is what im stuck with for now... btw I mounted that computer intake fan just to cool it for now, it blows air out of the other intakes so it won't be any good for odor control.

Go to home depot get some poster board..big sheet 8f/4f only 9 bucks and make any size box you want.

Darn pics. I was wondering why they only showed up as links and not the actual pics.. I'll try to post some more. I'll try to put some more up when I get home. It almost seems like my ventilation is screwed up. Not enough intake? But when I post pics you will get a better idea. I have plenty of pressure coming out of the box. through the exhaust. All of my intake holes are sucking air. I just don't get how if someone can pull off a PC grow why can't I grow in this box? I got the temps down to 90 with the door closed and 4 13w cfls. No fan on lights right now.. I kinda broke the one I had in frustration.. Well I should say I finished it off in frustration, my chains holding up my lights got caught in the propellers... Reading my first post and imagining how the setup my work, you would think that much exhaust coming out would be enough to suck all the hot air out right? I'm kind of rambling though. I'll put up some pics that work and maybe someone might see something that I don't. I'm still curious about the wiring of the lighting and if that would affect the max temps of the bulbs or not. They just seem so damn hot.

Yeah it's coming to that point. Helpful info though, didn't think it was that cheap, or to use that material. I'm trying to keep this smell proof though. So we'll see.

So basically a little bit of this.. Turned into a whole lotta this..

And now we have these.. Here is my carbon filter setup attached to the back. The fan is no longer in and the wholes aren't taped, that was just when I was experimenting. sorry its sideways.
Basically the air is sucked out through here and then down through the filter

Here's an idea of how much height I have. About twenty inches but I'll be doing some major lst so I'll keep it down around 15"or so not to mention my light box is like 3 inches high so I'll only have about 16 1/2 " max.. This is going to be interesting. Hopefully my idea will work and I can get my plants super close to the cfls.

And here it is! Hopefully the solution to my problems. I just built this thing today for the lights. I'm still not sure how I want to ventilate it though, its going to have to be through the top of the light box, I don't have much room on the sides. I'm thinking about running some two inch flex in and out of the back or the top, or really wherever outside of the actual grow box to give it its own air supply. But I don't know if that's really even necessary. I guess I'll find out though.

Here's my girls and the their home sweet home. The first is my NL and the second is Blue Mystic, both from Nirvana which despite some negative reviews I've had 100% germ, gender, and survival with these, 9 out of 10 seeds and one more waiting.

I have 2x200 watt cfls and they heat my 4x4 space to about 78 with no fan so its cool for me.Some peeps make a fan blow on the lights.Just make sure everything is real secure in there..looks to be so though..sturdy.nothing that can melt close to lights ect. safety first lol Ladies looking happy as hell though keep it up!
