I have this so far.. what do I need now?

I literally just ordered my 1st inline fan so will control temp/humidity cuz got good ac infinity which has an auto setting to hold at specific temp n rh but you’ll use zip ties or whatever you r using and attach like here....
View attachment 1152536 Then you’ll tighten the sock thing around the outlet part of the fan! Most people just hang filter from top crossbar of tent but the closer you get it to canopy the more humidity from your plants sweating it’ll pull outta the tent! Also you wanna put the thermometer/hygrometer just above canopy too! Your plants sweating puts out quite a bit of moisture and can dissipate some by the time it gets to top so you’ll get lol more accurate reading just above canopy height! Plus if lights are creating a lot of heat on canopy it’ll let you know so u can do some adjusting!
I'm sorry.. I smoked a little too much. I should rig the filter down at an angle? With the fan still in the upper slot of the tent, right?
Btw, how high should I have the light?

Also just so u know next time DONT DRILL HOLES INTO THE TUPPERWARE! Point of putting in paper towel and then placing inside Tupperware/ziploc baggy is so that it holds moisture in cuz they need like 85%+ humidity so just change lids if possible! Then place on top of modem or something that holds a constant temp around 80F and 24hrs other 1 will have tail! Sometimes they take longer so don’t doubt! Just make sure paper towel is damp and container is sealed and holding moisture and it’ll pop!

Ya if u run ac ducting across top of tent to middle and then make hose make a 90deg turn like its dropping to the floor and do just enough slack that filter is held like 6”-12” above canopy so it can suck moisture out! May not be needed now but in flower when u went that moisture level low hanging filter will pull more outta tent!

Don’t have mine yet but if I did filter would be standing up right about where mephisto sticker is! Then ac ducting goes straight up to top and then 90degree turn to run over to where u mount the fan! Then tighten sock at top of tent around the output vent on fan!

This was my soil going into flower but went from distilled to spring and life found a way again!!

Actually, I have three 5 gallon bottles of spring water from those machines from outside of the grocery store. I just read that distilled would be good for that.
What should I do about the seed? Anything right now or wait a bit more? And what is the procedure for that?

You can plant the 1 with the tail now if u want or change Tupperware lid for 1 without holes and let em go a lil longer! They’ll both wind up with tails! I always planted straight to jiffy but last time I let a seed soak and after 40hrs had no tail yet so just popped it in jiffy and 48hrs later was standing! Just make sure paper towel is only moist not where u could wring water outta it! But need a lid with no holes so it holds moisture inside that dish! Do u have hemostats (long medical tweezer things) cuz supposed to pick up with those so u don’t damage the tail when u plant it?!?

LIFE for the win! :yay: tbh, i meself soak the bean, but don't do the paper towel thing, nor do i presoak my soil, but that'z me  anyhoo, once the tail comez out, i jus uze the butt end of a drill bit to make a hole in the dirt about half again the length of the seed/tail combo, then take a pair o' good ol' hemostatz, very gently pick up the bean (i did say very g e n t l y, right-? lol :rolleyes2: ), set her in the hole, root down, gently brush over the soil, give a couple squirtz of rainwater mist & it'z a done deal :headbang: ppp
There you are.. now you tell me lol. I don't have hemostats. Tweezers?

No hemostats. Wish I knew.. wasn't told to get a pair.
I have another lid. I'll re-lid and buy a hemostats.
Sound alright?

IMPO Paper Towel Germination

I know that a lot of growers swear by it and their proof is the fact that many plants survive the technique but unless seeds are old or have been stored poorly soaking seeds is not needed and can drown them. Then because peeps need the instant gratification of seeing the tap root they germinate them in paper towels. If you look at a tap root under 200x magnification you will see the “root hairs” that grow laterally out from the tap root. These become the plant’s uptake roots. They will grow into the fibers of the paper towels and are ripped off every time the seedling is move or the towel is opened – ouch. Then when transplanting it is very easy to bump the tap root tip and damage it or kill the seedling – Why?

Put the fresh or properly stored seed ½” deep in a Rapid Rooter, Root Riot, rock wool cube or similar or right in the soil. Don’t use Jiffy peat pots the PH is too low. Keep moist – not wet, and ~78°F, 60% humidity with your lights running on 18/6 and they will germinate if viable. Most strains will germinate in 5 to 7 days. Some strains take longer than others. The African sativas can take 21+ days so be patient. 5 plus year old seeds may require special treatment.
