I use a simple little humidifier from the baby section or just a regular humidifier for the house I have it hooked up to a humidity controller with the beakers in the tent so it will kick on and off only when needed
I now monitor humidity on tent floor, plants canopy and 2/3 up tent. Those readings are always different from one another. Canopy is 50%-55% and I am close to harvest. That's a little higher than what I desire for flower. My evaporative humidifier is currently in tent. I will be testing it outside tent in my radiator heaters box to lower humidity next flowering.
Yeah it’s been really hot and humid here latley I’m giving my crop 2 weeks till chop so I ended up buying a dehumidifier today and the dehumidifier gets hot so I have it outside my grow room where my flower tent is and it helped dramatically as well as helped my ac that’s inside the room where my flower tent is get much cooler because it pulled moister out of the air the ac couldn’t do on its own , but I got the humidity level in the tent down to a steady 45 %
I used to worry about this when I first started too. Once the plant becomes established humidity will not be an issue. Until then you will need to get a humidifier and a dehumidifier.
Also, your exhaust fan should be on a controller like an inkbird, grab one for your humidifier and dehumidifier. Exhausting the air will drop the rh. This was my biggest problem with active ventilation. Once I went passive and started controlling the exhaust humidity was a thing of the past. Grab a pulse monitor so you can keep track of your environment changes.
