Mephisto Genetics HubbaBubbaSmelloscope ...

Grow space has stayed at 81.5*- 88.0* for the entire grow even with lights off for 4-6 hours … I would be thinking of harvest too but the pistils are still very immature and she's still taking up water at the same rate that she has for the past 4+ weeks. Thank you for your input.

Looking at the Trichs I agree she looks ready but I have always considered harvesting too early to be a sin … since the Pistils are immature, and the water uptake is unchanged I think I'll let this plant dictate her future. I've never had a plant that so effectively self pruned. In 7- 10 days there should be nothing but buds showing and at the present rate of change most of the pistils should be brown and ready for harvest. Yesterday was 10 weeks so it's right on time. Thanks again for your input.

It's been my very anecdotal experience that pistels on some autoflowers are misleading. I've seen 100 day old autos that with very mature trichomes continue to push out snow white pistels while they were simultaneously dropping leaves and obviously dying.

I've only seen it on autos under LEDs, but I've seen it a LOT on autos under LEDs. Your plant looks ready to me and I'd hate to see your quality drop off waiting on pistels that never really changed. Obviously, I'm also looking at a 2"x2" picture so YMMV in the real world.

I've seen immature Pistils on fox tailing that can make the date of harvest confusing but generally the original pistils have turned brown and this plant's original pistils are only just now starting to turn brown w/ very little fox tailing. The buds are starting to have the heavy feel of mature buds so I'm sure it will be any day now. Thanks for your input.

Week 9.5 … buds are small and several weeks from maturing … plant has been yellowing and dropping leaves for about 3 weeks while I've been increasing the nutrition. Past few days some browning of pistils. Grow space has been a consistent 84-88*. Light is a DS400 using 360 watts from Advanced LED.

Plants looking good...i'd give it a bit more time to fill in even with the browning of the pistils. Also make sure you have enough cal/mag as well.

Wow a DS400! That is one of our oldest lights? How long have you had it?

I bought the DS400 used about 5-6 yrs ago. It usually hangs over 2 plants and does a real nice job. Thanks for the input.

My HBBS was fox tailing and throwing white pistils to the end.

I took her down two days ago, day 89. She was 40% amber.

Reckon she will be 10 zips. Fugue State was 9 and smaller.

Week 11 … I harvested today … Last 10 days were good to her. Still only a small percentage of amber trics w/ the majority cloudy. I'd love to grow her outdoors to see what she can really do. Appreciate all the input.
