New Grower Hubbabubbasmellascope Quantum Board Grow

When nutes are too concentrated, the tips of the leaves begin to burn. I don’t see that here. How often are you watering? How much are you feeding with each watering? I think you could be over watering.
Im watering once a day. I am growing in Royal Gold Tupur coco...this stuff drains INCREDIBLY well....so I dont think there is a way to overwater(maybe I'm wrong!...lol). I'm only giving it 30-50mL of water each watering too.

You cannot overwater in coco. I run a drain to waste system and flood my girls.

There is a reason it is called hydro ;-)

So if it is not possible to overwater a seedling in coco, are you checking pH of your nutes?

I cant speak for all coco...I just know this Royal Gold Tupur has a lot of perlite and forest products in it....its amazing how well it drains. I can't even get water to pool up on the top hardly before its soaked in. But anyways, yes, I am checking my pH.

One thing I must note is, those were planted using the last of a 5 or 6 month old bag. I don't thinjf this had any effect or not. But, I have since bought a brand new bag and started 3 more seeds and they all 3 seem healthy....go figure...lol.

I tried a new method of starting these photo-period seeds. I burnt/melted drainage holes in both the clear and red cups. Then, I put coco in the clear cup and planted seeds that I germinated in a wet paper towel inside a sandwich bag. Then, i put the clear cup inside of the red cup, so that I can take it out and check the development of the roots and know when I need to transplant. I cut cardboard rings out of a pizza box to block light from getting in between the cups and down to the roots. So far, so good! Lol

Walter White - Day 35 and Day 40

PHOTO-PERIOD STRAINS(all from dispensary flower)
Jet Fuel AKA G6(Aspen OG X High Country Diesel) - Day 14 and Day 5
Miami Heat(Miami Haze X Triple OG) - Day 14
Sweeties(White Tahoe Cookies X FaceOff OG) - Day 5

First 4 pics are of my 2 Walter Whites from Mephisto. The one on the right is slightly farther ahead(in actual days) than what is listed. The one on the left was transplanted on Thursday. I sprinkled some Great White Myco on the coco before I sat the roots in it. I think I was a little rough on the roots, trying to "open up" the roots a little. How long does "Transplant Shock" usually last for you guys?

The 5th pic is of the 2 week old seedlings, 2-Jet Fuel(G6) and 1-Miami Haze. I had some trouble with them at the start but, 2 of them seem like they are starting to grow "normal"....well, at least 2 of them are...lol.

The 6th pic is of 2-Jet Fuel(G6) and 1-Sweeties seedling. These seem to be off to a much better start. I like this method with the clear cup....last night, I could already see the roots at the bottom and side of 1 of them.

Sweeties - Day 12
White Tahoe Cookies x FaceOff OG

First 4 pictures are of my younger Walter White. I had a little issue with some lower leaves losing color(see 4th pic...you can barely see them) about a 5-7 days after her transplant. I flushed her out real good and fed her....she has gained some of her color back, compared to how it was. It is still growing 1.5-2 inches a day for the last week....so its def getting nutrients right? Lol. This Walter White has a very similar/neat structure to it, just like the White Chem that I grew. See in picture 3 how the branch starts growing "crooked/almost sideways" at each node? The main stems and the branches on both plants have done this. Its nothing bad...just noting that it is cool to me. Im guessing that is part of the genetics? Ive never seen another strain grow like this.

Pics 5-9 are of my older Walter White that I stunted as a seedling. She is looking really good. I cannot believe how much frost is on this plant already! Definitely the frostiest plant Ive ever grown at this stage! Its gonna be fun to watch this one develop. It is going to look like one giant bud, I believe! Picture 9 is of the "4 branch node" that developed on this Walter White. And the node above it has 3 branches!

Pics 10 and 11 are of my photo-period seedlings. In pic 10 is 2 G6's up top and the Miami Heat below. In pic 11 is 2 more G6's up top and 1 Sweeties below. The G6 in the top left of pic 11 was dropped upside down the other day. All of the dirt came out and the plant and taproot came out in tact. I lost a lotta other smaller roots. She is finally starting to show signs of issues 2 days later. Those issues are either from that or from a low pH feeding(5.5). My pH pen was off by 0.3.....and I didnt know it until I saw some signs of issues on these seedlings and decided to recalibrate it. I tested my feed before calibration and after, and it was 0.3 off.

Pics 12 and 13 are of a new way, at least I haven't seen it, that I thought up to train branches without having to have stakes/strings/bands/etc. going between the bottom of the plant and to the pot. You can see in the bottom of pic 12 that I have about 6 grill skewers training my other branches....making it harder(not much, but some...lol) to water/feed that plant. I can train the upper, smaller/shorter branches with these things and not have to have more skewers or some rubber bands trying to hold them in place.

Does this look like calcium definciency? Or something else? It is only on the top 2 fan leaves of this plant....so I guess it could be slight light stress? All of the other leaves look perfect...?

Supercrop her? Or let her go natural? She is still growing vertically, which is why I need to decide what to do ASAP. I really wanted to let this one go natural(besides the very light training I have done with the grill skewers). I'm happy with how evenly spaced Ive got all the branches(see 2nd pic). I'm worried Supercropping is going to mess with that a little....but if its for the better, then oh well! Lol

Alright guys, question for you....I fed all of my plants at 5.9pH the other day. I recorded the results of the run off from each plant. I have been giving this plant feed at 5.8 the past 3 days, to see if I can get the pH # of the runoff down. I flushed the WW2 last night....and now the runoff is coming out at 6.6pH after going in at 5.8 pH.....what would cause this?

I’d say you have a buildup of nutrients in the medium that now has a higher pH than what you put in. I think a more accurate method of testing your pH is to do a slurry rest of the medium.
