K.I.S.S. Keep It Super Simple... a low maintenance grow, with tomato plant food.
STRAIN: Hubbabubbasmelloscope
SOIL: Peat moss + 10% vermiculite + 10% Perlite
CONTAINER: 15 liter Superoots Air Pot (holds 13.6 liters of soil)
LIGHTS: Grownorthern HS1 LED, 24/7 from seedling to chop
NUTES: Texas Tomato Food, at 500 PPM from seedling to chop, $14.95 per quart on Amazon.
One quart is enough to make 128 gallons at 500 PPM, seems cheap to me, if it works!
NO grow light cycles, no mixing bottles of A & B, no Ph adjustments, no calmag, no force feeding, and no flushing.....
Just good seeds, soil, water, and light. Lets see what happens.
I drenched the soil with water fertized to 500 PPM and let the container drain at a 30 degree angle so there is little or no perched water. The moist soil should keep the seedling happy for the first two weeks, so zero maintenence!
Planted the seed directly in the soil, no soaking, no paper towels, no plastic bag, no warm spot.
Just pushed the seed down .5 inch and covered it up with soil and didn't even water it since the soil was already very moist.
PRESTO! 3 days later it germinated (actually 66 hours later, gotta love Mephisto seeds)
