Cheers dude.

Hey grim.... nice grow u got going. Been checking in time to time.... ive got some TBs aswell. In veg and in mid blom it didnt look so good IMO but now in later bloom It looks like they just want to continue flowering and to get fatter and juicer buds.... They sure didnt reach the 1.5 metres in height but the buds start to get compact and chunky and still producing alot of white hairs.. try leave your girl to swell as long as you can. If yours do like mine you will be greatly rewarded.... :)

She's doing great ! how many weeks is she at ?

I would try to harvest whiles it still has its dank smell , I say that as i waited way too long for my last Autos to finish they grew past the smelly flavorful stage and into blandness , leaving me with a 1lb of pretty flavorless Bud to Vape.
For this harvest the plan is to harvest at or before 10 weeks less if the odor is disappearing and probably in stages harvesting the riper buds at 8 weeks , I hope to avoid it happening to me again yikes

Thanks @24hrs
From my own experience and opinion the longer you leave an auto the better(within reason). Think Big is meant to be harvested in 14 weeks and thats when she will come down judging by the Trchs. I have had the same thing happen before where i found a loss of flavour but i did some research and found out that it is more than likely a pheno type. Some phenos will stink and then loose thier smell before harvest, some wont smell at all till the end. it really depends on how stable the genetics are not how long you grow the plant for.

Sorry @Tdam
I missed this somehow but its all good now.
Im with you here buddy, im actually growing about 8 o f these in another room in soil and out of all 8 i have only got about 2 big phenos.
Looks to me that the first my batch of seeds are not as stable as DP says but im sure that will get fixed in no time. All 8 plnats will be done in 12 weeks max and that is pushing it a little.
Im going to leave this Think Big go for the 14 weeks as it always takes a little longer for autos in DWC.

I agree with your points , I made that post in error it should have read I will harvest after 8 or 10 weeks in flower mode.

Last Time I grew the Autos they did not flower for 6 weeks which is fine but i left them for near 3 months to bulk up the harvest which it did and its stony but bland and has little flavor , looks the part though !

It was my first time trying autos I did fuk that part up

Do you keep a journal of the 8ths? Something u want to share ? :)

Week: 13 - Day: 91

Think Big was flushed this week using CANNA flush , the solution was then drained and 35 litres of bubbled water was adminstered to the plant. That same water was drained immeaditly and then replaced with 35L of bubbled non PH'd water. This water will stay in the DWC bucket for a week and then changed out for some more water. Giving Think Big a total of 2 weeks of cleansing before harvest.

Now that the autoflower has been receiving a cleanse it is very noticable that she is drawing the last of her food reserves from the leaves. A lot of leaves have changed colour dramatically as the plant starves, from a lovely virbrint green to a pale pesky yellow. As the leaves die back they get snipped off using a scissors in order to decrease any chances of bud rot.

Now that the plants life cycle is drawing to an end, almost every bud that was produced has become dense and well structured. 90% of the Auto-flowering Cannabis plant pistils have turned amber while only about 10% still remain white.

As you can see the THC managed to develop quite nicely over the flowers and leaves of this entire specimen. Her buds are very sticky and full of resin which was checked today under a jewellers loupe 60x. The results were that over 15% of Trichomes have turned amber while the remaining 85% are still white. Ab out 20% amber is the optimal percentage that I look for so hopefully after another week of cleansing the Trichomes should be in the sweet spot.
