Indoor HPS lights?

I have been using a 400W hps, I am happy with the results so far, but heat is with out a doubt a BIG concern esp in a small space. Even with cool tubes, and or big vent fans.

I also use a 400 watt HPS. In my 32"X32"x72" tent. I have heat issues, but it was 82 degrees F today for a high temp, and I have been away all week, so no AC. It made my plants really put on some weird growth. The main colas sprouted a sparsely budded stem from the top of the main cola. The rest of the plant still looks pretty normal, for plants that are about 2 weeks from harvest.

I use a 400W HPS in a 2x4x7 ft. cabinet.
Sometimes I will add three or four 68W CFLs.
Air flow and ventilation is provided by vents, CoolTube, and a 6 inch, 475cfm fan.
The temperature stays about 65F inside the cabinet.
