I wanted to know what are some good hps lights to use for autos? do you need two different bulbs (i.e. one for veg, one for flower)?

Cause I have been looking at CFL's but I also wanted to do research on some HPS lights and what not.

that or anybody can give me any light suggestions?

It all depends on what type of setup you are wanting. How much space do you have?
Personally I was very worried about the heat produced from larger HPS fixtures, so I went with the 150 HPS. I couldn't be happier, I have healthy plants, no heat issues, and they are easy to use.

I use a 1000w Hortilux Eye Super hps...from start to finish..with great results!!..:smokebuds:

I have been using a 400W hps, I am happy with the results so far, but heat is with out a doubt a BIG concern esp in a small space. Even with cool tubes, and or big vent fans.

Love my 400 ushio's. I use an a/c in the summer. No real heat issues.

Well, I might be growing in a closet type space, I'm not too sure on what the actual size is. but don't they give off a lot of heat?

im running ushio 600w in a watercooled system connected to a 55 gal drum unrefrigerated and it runs like a charm in a 4x4 tent. the possibilities are endless with a setup like that but its costs funds son lol. im thankful my girl is interested in starting a minifarm with me so that my indoor obsessions will be allowed as long as i let her have chickens and a minicow. i figure why not. plus i got her to promise she will help with the growing outside so the real work will be with a helper now lol.
