New Grower How to uppload pics!

IPHONE
1 Press advanced.
2 press add attachment or manage attachments(both will get you to the next stage)
3 press add files
4 press choose file
5 If you want to upload more then one photo you press + and you get more "choose file" icons
6 Take a photo or choose an existing
7 when you feel you got all the pics you want to upload you press the upload button
8 On the bottom of the page you will see your photos ( you will also see them at top). Make sure the pictures are turned in the correct way then press insert inline and and finaly press Done and you will get back to the typing box with hopefully your pics in it

All the photos i upload seem to be sideways?? ive tried taking them the other way round and even flipping them before i uplaod but it makes no different, any ideas???

I am having the same problem can some one help us out I have tried correcting them too does it have anything to do with a iphone?
The deal with pictures is, they are easier to correct before you upload them. If you use a photo editing software, sorry I know nothing about mac or iphone, you can rotate the pictures and then save them. Then when you upload they will be in the correct position. It is a constant problem if you use your phone and turn it sideways to shoot photos. Whatever perspective they are saved in is how they will upload so best to correct them before than after. Hopefully that helps a little, I am quite stoned at the moment.
Anyone care to explain photo uploading for a moron? I don't see any "advanced", or "attachment" thingie or anything. Whenever I try to upload a photo, I just get an error message.

Just to clarify the situation BR549 this thread was made for the old site.
To upload a picture to the New AFN is much easier than before.
You can either to choose to use the "Upload File" (bottom left of the screen) or drag and drop a picture.
Picture file size matters, if you file size is too large it won't upload, I think max file siz3 is something like 5Mb.
Either make sure you camera resolution is set on a low level or you can use a program to reduce the size of your file by compressing it.
Some programs have an icon to optimize the picture for websites etc.
