Harvest & Curing How to trim leaves??

Hey everyone. I am close to harvest and had a trim question. I know you just pull hit fan leaves off... but how about the smaller sugarleaf that is growing inside of the buds? Do I just trim till its even with the bud or try and get j side and get whole leaf? I think my buds are pretty tight and do not see how I can get the scissors in to get the leaf at the stem? How do all of you do it?

I cut all the fan leaves off, then i take the smaller fans off, the i trim down the suger leaves not all the way to the bud leave a lil extra on, they will dry and curl up to the bud and protect all the goodness mate, Then after my bud had dried i manicure it ( i cut any leaf that is sticking our) Si

There are no real definitive threads on trimming on this site I always debate how deep to go on the sugar leaves. I had a girl I know who works on a California medical farm critique my trim job which I thought was pretty good. But she said it was way to leafy for medical grade. I feel like if I'd trimmed more off there'd be nothing left to smoke. I get all the significant bud leaves down to the stem where it's reasonable to do so and "shave" the rest down to the bud.

If buds are fight how do u get into stem for the smaller leaves without messing up the bud? Man I want to move to Calif and own a mmj farm. Cant wait to legalize in Ohio already have the funding for dispensary and everything. Cannabis is my life and passion and I find myself constantly educating people around ne on the topic.. I remind them the world was flat at one time and alcohol was illegal.

See when i trim i dont dig into the bud at all just trim whats hanging out not whats inside, Youll find when you are manicuring the each bud it attached in a certain way and you will get used to gettin the buds of each stem without breaking them.... My first harvest my PK i didnt know what to trim so i just chopped away lol it will all come in time people trim and manicure to their own way..

I figured I would cut to the shape of the bud as well.. then after drying I could give it another quick manicure
