Grow Mediums How often do you usually need to water in coco?

Or you can go with Coco Loco which carries amendments. Right now I am watering every two to three days. PH 6.3-6.8.

100% here..1 time a day, little to no runoff. Blk plastic 1.7 gal. Make sure you PPM/PH is on point. Easy on feed strength.

Not 100% coco, but I started with the 70/30 coco/pearlite as above, but I've started to add about 10% home made compost & worm humus. Both add a little more water retention (no bad thing) plus adding the biolife charges roots and allows me to feed better organic nutrients.
You can water once a day. It is that simple. You will be fine. If no inputs then better do salts.

I run 70% coco, 30% perlite. I water typically once per day, but sometimes once every 2 days. Make sure you water to some run off or you will get salt build up and have issues. I run 12-14 girls at a time, and hand watering them during flower daily is a pain in the butt, especially dealing with the run off (shop-vac). I also wasn't a fan of the amount of waste from the run off. Lets just say my back wasn't thanking me any either, and I now have a 12 pot autopot system on the way lol.

Doesn't that largely depend on the types of feed you use?

Same, but i use the veg run off for the N in flower feed. Always figured i was being tight, but it saves a few quid.

Sorry buddy, not sure why youre saying that..!?

I'm considering siwtching to coco for my next run, but I don't want to be watering 2+ times a day. If I go with just 100% coco, will watering once a day be sufficient? Can I use a hard container like a plastic pot with 100% coco to really retain moisture?
I'm new at this but I'm running damn close to 100% coco. A couple cups in 3 gal mostly at the bottom. I water really often but pretty low strength nutrients. Its easier to get good even saturation with each water if it stays good and wet. If it gets dry enough on top to change color at all I get bad tunneling. If I keep it wet, nice little poolage on top and slow even drain through. I am absolutely wasting solution but it's my first go and I'd rather that than upset the poor lassies. So far so good, I'm about 11 weeks in.

Me either. LOL. Did someone say they were either coco only and not using any inputs? When I'm not lazy I water my coco 2x a day. 1.5 gallons 1st water 1/2 gallon 2nd water. I am 70%coco and 30%pearlite/vermiculite to start. To that I add several cups worm, all the other crop and let it cook for a few weeks. The point is the watering here so I will not go into my inputs. Coco, perlite= water everday+ I used to water every other day and the plants did just fine for whatever that is worth.

It seems that only a few years ago the consensus pushed that wet-partially dry cycles were best with coco. Now it defiinitely seems that once daily or more frequent watering, wet-lesser wet cycles, is the consensus for what's best.

I favor the wet-partially dry cycles. I generally use 4-5 gallon containers with coco/perlite, and usually feed every other day. Or just feed when the pots feel light(er) and/or stick your finger in and check the top inch or 2 for moisture level.

How would I establish the roots before would "actiavate" our autopots? I am confused, would we transplant / place a seedlings and water/feed the plant for 3-4 weeks till we can use our Autopots?

I think they are normally top fed until roots reach lower third (auto pot wicks up nutes!?) Usually a couple weeks.
Don't quote me though, going off a couple videos I watched doing my initial research (I settled on airports in coco with daily feeds)
