New Grower How often do you feed your plants??

I feel every watering and typically do not mix any veg nutes with bloom nutes. Biobizz all the way...I use very small pots (4", 1 1/2 ltr) and seems ot work for me. I am lucky enough to have well watrer that hovers in 6.5 ph range...and never adjust....

I'm growing in Pro Mix, which is soil less, with some manure added. Pro Mix already contains a small amount of beneficial fungi, but I also add some Myco Maximum to compensate for the manure. I've been using chemical nutes and know that certain chemical nutes can kill the fungi. So I checked with Better-Gro, the nutrient manufacturer to see if that was a problem. It's not. Their nutes are a lot stronger, 20-14-13 and 11-35-15. I start off 1/4 strength at week 2 and increase to 1/2 strength, with the occasional full strength feeding, especially in bloom. I also feed humic acid, micronized trace elements and some PK13.14 on occasion. Molasses also. I mix it all together and use it every watering. This mix does require a good flush at the end or else there will be an unpleasant taste to the cured buds. I just bought some GH nutes that I'm going to try on my next grow. If I don't see a significant difference I'll stay with the Better-Gro as they are available locally and relatively inexpensive.

Hey smashed you should look into a organic pH up and down. I know earth juice has one.

That's great info here guys! Thanks everyone! It seems to me that it's more typical to mix chemical nutes one at a time and organics all together. At least that's what I'm thinking... Am I correct in this? Because the organics don't have as much salts and such, I know nute lock can still occur in any situation, organic or not. But, it seem that it's less likely to occur in organics when you mix your nutes all together?

Yeah true me too man. Now I re read Automan's post he doesn't mix veg and bloom and he uses biobizz. I believe that's organic. Well like CDC said it's really a hard question to answer BUT it is good to know you can mix all together if u want to. Also the most important thing I picked up out of this thread is you can feed every watering. That's very important to me because I think I'm not feeding enough for autos to achieve the yields I want. I'm not expecting oz's at the point I'm at but I think at least an OZ a plant is a realistic goal for a second time grow. One day I'll get yields like you all! :D

If using organics I wouldn't think twice about feeding every watering. There harder to burn, but can be burn with organics. No salts in true organics either, just the chem ones. Biobizz=General Organics from what I read.

Here is a good little article

Thanks Jackal! Hey since you mention it... Do you know if you subscribe to High Times or any mag like that do they send it privately? So the postal workers don't know you get weed mags at your residence? Sorry it's off topic, just wondering...

Sure thing man, they come in a white envelope.
