New Grower How low can autos go?

My tent in my garage will most likely get down, with lights off, into the 60F to low 70F range.
Well that hurt them?
No you won't see problem unless it's under 60F, or if you have 20+ degree temperature swing between lights on and off.

Thats no problem but plants grow best between 70-80* usually, and yes large temperature swings are a problem with stretching.
I got mine in a little greenhouse with lights and heater on timer to warm the night. Its been getting below freezing from 12am-6am and the days are topping out in mid 40s*F.
With heat it only gets up to 55-65*. I moved most of my good stuff inside but thought id try and see if greenhouse was feasible. Been going green so far but slow grow and kind of a power waster since i dont have solar panels, water wheels, or wind turbines to help.
Its not even the start of winter till the Solstice on Dec. 22nd. Its probly a hopeless gamble but i thought the autos would have the best chance to make it.

Cold and dead now.

I run my grow room in the mid to high 60s and there just fine. I do it to keep the leaf temp down because I am running a 600W HPS and it is pretty close to the plants, like 15" away from the tops. I don't have a lot of space to raise the light. They are just fine in the 60s.

Terraformer33 , I also live in Oregon... your raised beds look like mine.... I miss garden season.... suppose to get COLD for the next few days..... I am growing indoor right now, sure did have a perfect outdoor year.... cheers!

I also find the plants grow slower in cooler temperatures , I find mid 80's to be the most productive for the top half of the plant and low to mid 70's for the root zone.

Having the roots at 70 and the plant at 70 works fine but anything below and I find slows the nutrient uptake and subsequent growth rate.

I keep a Aquarium temp gauge in one of my pots that I use to regulate their temp with. (using fans)

look into guys if your not sure what temperatures generally work best.
I am not 100% sure what the absolute best temperatures are for Cannabis.
I just mentioned what I find works for me.

I guarantee Cannabis has a optimum growing temp

having the roots at 80 may work well although I have not tried knowingly ...

I left a couple plants in my greenhouse just for giggles. They survived just fine until we had 3 days or so in the 20's (F) I even revived a frozen plant! These thing are TOUGH!
