Grow Mediums How do you water YOUR coco

Read read read, grow grow grow, smoke smoke smoke....then write what you know and someone new starts to read read read.....

I can smoke one to that!

I use a drip system. Make my res as needed, keep a bubble stone in there and just check ph every day. It's as easy as that. I'm going with smaller pots on my next grow hopefully. I think I can achieve fast growth at first with a smaller pot. Who knows they might even get bigger.

Seriosuly!? I was going to buy a pair of 20L for my next grow. Mind expanding on that? I want to get results as DWC, but I can't compete with my 10L air pots. Everyone is using at least 15L buckets.

That, or maybe this;

^less is more. Automate for yield and scale, personal use gardens probably don't need complex tech...the more steps and devices between you and the root zone, the more room for error.

If you install a drip ring in your pot and run water lines from a manifold, you can make life super easy and still have the precise control of dtw hand watering.

Disclaimer: just my thoughts...I am but one opinion amongst many hugely successful growers.

Smaller pots will make for a faster time for the pot to dry out. The faster the pot dries out the more you can feed. The more you feed the more they can eat. The more they eat the bigger they get! Smaller pots also allow for the roots get started faster.

But in the same sense, the bigger the pot, the bigger the root system, the bigger potential you have = bigger yield... hmm, but yes, I can see the dilemma.

I think maybe 20L may be too big for the majority of autos, but some become monsters. If you get some of the know strains that do this, it might significantly boost production. I am very tempted to try a 20L. I will definitely try 15L, I can tell by my current run that all 7 of them would appreciate more room.

ive just started my new grow,16 seeds,3 strains,20L pots under 480w of led and an adjustawatt dimmable ballast 250w,400w,600w,660w

im hoping 20L pots will be ok,i wanted a big root zone as more roots in dwc means a bigger yield

Groff you'll be fine with the 20s mate you'll just have to train them a little more buddie , this is comeing up to my buzy time work wise and cant be arsed watching them 24/7 the baby fruit in my diary is in a 15lt air-pot and shes had a hard life and shes still 1.2m from the top of the pot BUT shes not been trained they all were left to there own devices bro

Im probably going to do a starryder run next and they feckers can get big so not takeing the chance , i fucked up my last TD grow by growing them to big and only got 10oz but should of been double plus mate but if you were to say grow a slightly smaller strain then your on a winner this downsizeing is only to accomidate the starryders as i dont want them to cramped but they'll still get big , lol , trust me and cramped mate :smokebuds:

How did you "let them grow too much"? You certainly have enough light going...
