Righty guys there is no diffinitive answer to this question , there is no right and wrong either , just DONT let them dry right out

I normaly feed every day but as im useing big pots im starting to doubt myself granted the girls are looking good but when i leave them for a day or so they seem fine with no probs at all

So how do you feed yours ? :peace:

I use Autopots, a wick system with pots sitting in small reservoir. Coco perlite 50/50 mix doesnt get soggy.
The medium never really dries unless you switch water supply off. An inch of clay pebbles at the base helps.

Your like a bullit Duggy , lol , im thinking of just feeding every 2nd day and see how it goes mate as im in 20lt pots so they hold plenty anyhoo :smokebuds::peace:

At first using coco I was really paranoid not to let it dry out. Now I let the coco dry quite a fair bit, but only once the plants are well established. Nothing drastic, I water until super saturation, then let it ride for a few days. Using LEDs is a major difference to HID. Water doesn't really evaporate. It's up to the plant to drink it. Once in full flower, every 2 of 3 days tops as then, yes, te coco can get super dry quick

I dunno, Started happening by accident when I couldn't tend to them, and I noticed a more vigorous and healthy grow vs daily watering.

10L pots here! Thinking of upsizing in the near future

Cheers Groff im actuall thinking of down sizeing mate to 15lt air-pots its because there right at the max for my tent ( 1.8m tall ) went in there and measured one there , lol , feck i can hardly see the key board feckin hps lol there sitting at 1.6m tall, inc pot (30cm) and im not trying to get them big this time round so if i drop a size i should be able imo get a better yeild as i'll be giveing them more room for there pot size if you know what i mean they'll be able to spread out more hopefully and mature more evenly

Anyhoo thats the plan at the mo and was so tempted to water the girls there but resisted as they were still very damp from last night and i do want them to dry abit to see if theres any reaction

Cheers for the reply and i think were on the same page at the mo :buds::smokebuds::peace:

Nice thread Dex!! :)

Well ... I water by hand every day. I make up my batches of feed in a 5 litre water bottle.
I use Canna Coco A&B, add the A first and shake shake shake - and the B and again i shake shake shake (it's actually my exercise routine as well as my plant feed) and then i carefully PH and add a lot more shaking.

I've only got one plant - she's quite big now with approximately 3 weeks left, so I'm currently giving her 1.5 litres. I check the PH every time, becuase over a few days it will creep up a point or 2.

I absolutely agree with not letting her dry out ... but last week my girl didn't drink enough and this made me mad. She got punished with no supper that day and ever since, she's been drinking like a good girl.

I'd say fair but firm! ^_^ lol

It takes me about 3 minutes to totally water her as i'll water slowly and make sure every bit of the pot gets an equal share .. even the corners :) then i'll sit and stare at her for 10 minutes, taking the odd dead leaf away from the bottom.

Pot size is about 10 or 11 litres (square plastic pot - i've gone back to them after trying airpots)

Read read read, grow grow grow, smoke smoke smoke....then write what you know and someone new starts to read read read.....

Canna AB'er here as well. And 5 liters :D
Shake shake and inject A, stir, then B, stir. After that pH is 5,5-6. Then I pour it through coco and daily take out old and inject new feed from hempy hole. It was a bit of work when I had 16 plants ;) Water through the coco when it is dry enough, meaning every 2-3 days.
