The whole thing is just a plain pain in the ass!

I bought a different one and it worked perfect for my drying closet with the ink bird. For my 4x4 tent, I only need a humidity boost at the beginning of my 6 month grow season (oct-April). Once plants get on the res for Autopots I have all the rh I need. My plan for next year is to put a couple of fully watered fabric pots in tent with the evaporate humidifier, until plants get on the res.I know this is a bit late but - I returned it. It worked poorly as an evaporative humidifier, which (as @DCLXVI described) is marginal at best for tent humification IMHO. I am back to ultrasonic/RODI water.
I have the same one. Very good, but I found the thermostat to be off. The reason I went away from it is that I’m getting away from ultrasonic humidifier due to powdery dust produced with use of tap water. The evaporate humidifier doesn’t work nearly as well, but no more powder. I’m finding that I don’t need much boost if any since I turned on res for fabric Autopots this morning.I found the following humidifier to be great for my baby/veg tent. It has cool or warm mist depending on if you need a little extra heat in your tent. It has remote control, and digitally stays at the humidity you want. Nice big tank so you are not filling it every day. Really quiet also.

I dont have a 2nd humidifier...so when its time for the plants to go into the big girls tent on the rez I just put the rez INSIDE the tent to keep humidity around 55. My house runs about 28-30%
I have a whole house one running a big evaporative in the room which makes it about 50% so in veg I will probably run my mist one as well to bring it up to about 60 early on. Just need to use distilled water. I tell you it is better than running dehumidifiers in the summer. They cost me a lot of electricity.I have the same one. When I first saw the picture that you posted, I thought it was the same one that I have - "PETSPIONEER Reptile Humidifier Digital Timing Fog Machine with Double Hose & 4 Liter Reservoir, Automatic Terrarium Fogger". They're very similar but your Wacool has a sensor on it. The PetsPioneer doesn't have a sensor and they have a nozzle that supports two hoses. They're the same but different, eh?I have a smallish tent and wanted to open up floor space. I have a regular misting one but I recently bought this unit and really like it.

It's a good unit for my 2'x 4' tent. The hoses allow me to direct vapor to different places in the tent and it holds its settings when the Inkbird powers it off and then back on again. I've bought two other humidifiers, one is the 6 liter Levoit, before I settled on this device.
