Horticultural Lighting Group's Grow and Show

Got the UVA-30 installed on the 650R and the I-bolts and chains setup. Got the tent all cleaned up, cleaned the fans up and gave them some oil. Blew out the flex duct and cleaned up the exhaust fan and pre-filter. Then I got the 650R hung and hung the 100 V2 for a seed I started floating last night. Next grow is going to be a single plant photo scrog grow. Setup a new Rain Science 7 gal. pot 9-17 with coco and a Gaia Green mix. My clear seedling solo cup is buried in the pot. So all I need is a popped seed and a sprout of green. The 3 x 3 is at the end of it's upgrade path for now.

My three little 3gal are great, given pot size. Orgy pot is an interesting experiment. They are eating and sucking up water like crazy and that's with a low vpd. I'm gonna measure to see if any platforms I made will fit between the big EBs to raise up the 3gal pots. A couple of days of that to see how well they take that and begin to raise the VPD.
It was bugging me, so I fixed it. My stands fit, so the girls got raised. I had to bump the light down one notch on the dimmer. I opened up the orgy pot too.
All my EB Jr girls are raging their asses off with the Earthbox effect. Fugue State, that I slowed and the youngest girl in the Reg Earthbox are just now getting into that state.

Day 48 for this 2 girls that have been under the blackbird. Plants seem a little short this round but with the new light and a bit more heat in the tent my watering hasn’t been up too par so that might of stunted my plants. That is no problem tho father this round of autos inthink I’m switching stuff up. Autos will be going in my 2.3x2.3 tent and this tent with the HLG will be for flowering photos.
Day 7 of the Funky Monkey. The 100 V2 is doing it's thing. Have a solo cup with roots all around. Hope to be transplanting her next Friday or Saturday and introducing her to the 650R. Will be treating this photo like a auto until flip to flower. Pushing her hard with solid 24 hr. lighting.
HLG Blackwing - Mid cycle 4 weeks
HLG Blackwing:
This Blackwing is absolutely fabulous! The plants finally started to take off in week 3 and by the end, just a day into week 4, they have exploded with new leaves. I'm thinking a high quality light helps a lot!
Moved up to click #5 for intensity and holding at about 18" above the plants. Hopefully these will be some useful guidelines for anyone growing without a par meter or phone app.

Week 4: Compare the above pic at day 15 to 8 days later below.....
Also for anyone considering a 4x2 grow space, the Blackwing fits wonderfully in the tent. You could center it up and put two plants with one under each board. Or...... You can offset it slightly and have a nice space for environmental controls.
Here is mine with about 6" off the far side which leaves enough room for a humidifier, heater, and intake duct.
There is also enough room to clear an oscillating fan. This one happens to be one of the new ACInfinity fans. A bit dark but it is at the top of the image.

If that tree trunk hadn't insisted on visiting my living room, I would have picked up this light on Black Friday for my little tent.

FLASHY FLASHY!
This light is simply a beast! The only sorta of a negative I can say, I haven't been able to turn it up fully!
And that with the PAR figures averaging around 850.
I was worried about heat control with this light with the driver still mounted to light, but it's been no problem to keep things in the proper heat range.
If I had my growroom built in my shop, I'd have four of these lights going and I could help a few more Vets with meds all the canna these lights would make!!
I'm so damn grateful for AFN, Les @HLG and the amazing guys and gals at Horticultural Lighting Group for giving me the opportunity to test and show off this outstanding light
