Mango Smile/Mephisto Genetics Day 41 from sprout. At the end of week 2 in flower. I think. It’s my 1st grow.

5 gal airpot

FF Ocean Forest, Happy Frog, Coco Loco, and perlite mix with Natures Living Supersoil on bottom 1/3 of pot

3000W Philzon 6 COB LED (628 actual watts pulled from wall) 24hr on and 32in from canopy.

Water every 2 or 3 days as pots get lighter with bubbled tap water and Recharge every other watering. I’m also watering with just enough to saturate the whole pot and have just enough runoff to measure because of the living soil. Roughly about 1/2 gal each lady.

Used Malibu Compost Tea 3 weeks ago and had a slight nitrogen toxicity with clawing. Since then I’ve been watering with plain overnight bubbled tap water Ph’ed 6.4-6.7 with Recharge every other watering. These spots popped up Tuesday evening and thought maybe it was a calcium deficiency so Wednesday morning I added Green Planets Pro-Cal (cal-mag) at 3ml per gal. The recommended dose is 4.5ml per gal. Ph was 6.6, ppm was 340, and water temp was 76 degrees. Runoff Ph was 6.7 and ppm was 740. Pots were getting light so I watered with the same thing tonight. Ph and ppm were identical.

All problem leaves are older leaves, no spots on newer growth.

Oh, I do have a slight white fly issue but it’s not out of control. Maybe see 1 every other time I’m in the garden and have a few on yellow sticky traps but it’s not too bad. Other than that, no bugs under any leaves that I can see and over all the girls look happy.

The photos taken under the cob white light.

Plants look really good. I am around the same time frame as you on my blue cheese cobbler grow and I have a few of those leaves on my plant as well and a few more will most likely happen. I was told in my journal that those leaves are really not taking in any more nutrients or any of that because everything is focusing on the buds right now so other leaves are slowly dying off. I have some pictures in my grow journal if you want to take a look. This is my first grow so I love the advice people have been giving me.

I’m driving myself crazy with internet back and forth. lol Rust fungus, deficiency, and lock out. I don’t think it’s rust fungus, nothing rubs off when I stroke the leaves so I clipped them. Those were some of the leaves left from that burn from the tea and don’t know if I should chalk it up that. Thanks for the input, I just wanna get through this first grow smoothly. And I would love to see those pics to compare if it’s convenient. Thanks again

I found this picture and not sure if it’s like yours. I was browsing for mine awhile ago and that’s when someone mentioned to me a lot of the plants will do this towards the middle and end of flower. I will post my pictures to you when I wake the babies back up.

That dang sure does look like my spots. My Fantasmo Express (the taller one) had the starts of that too on the older fan leaves. I’m getting about mid way through flower so if that’s my case, then that is fantastic! Thank you so much for the input. The overall health I thought was lookin pretty good so I really didn’t think deficiency and was maybe leaning more towards a lock out.

I used cal mag once on my plants and no nutes. I used cal mag once and I started seeing those spots and I stopped and have only gave mine ph water. I just hate using anything because I always mess something up lol.

I have run happy frog since the beginning and I can almost bet your ph is low. All my grows drop to 5 towards end, so when I hit bloom with them my ph goes in at 7 after the first week of flower.

Hmmm makes sense. I will keep that in mind. Thank you

Calmag drops ph of water, calcium and magnesium lock out completely at anything lower than 6.2. So you can feed all you want but plant can't uptake nutes. Next time adding calmag up the ph to 7 and it will correct in pot ph.
