Lighting HLG Diablo QB

Compared to others like Fluence, it's a bargain. The commercial market is the target for these. Hoping they bring back the diy boards for us. I did manage to snag 4 of them though! Maybe next week I'll get my light built.

Are they pricey compared to comparable high-end lights or just to the DIY QB kits that are used to?

The story is that the boards are wired in such a way that people are misconnecting them and burning out the red diodes, but it does also seem like that they are really trying to target the commercial market with his product it may just not have the time or the interest in building those smaller boards for the amateur growernat this time. Look at the 288 bases HLG 300 and HLG 550 boards which are clearly targeted at someone other than me. LOL

Fluence is waterproof though plus provides better canopy PPFD due to the bar style lighting. Their PPFD doesn't drop off so strongly at the edges compared to QBs. You pay more for the quality extrusions, IPX rating, and their optics.

Though I think the Samsung Photoboost and the Bridgelux EBG3/Vestas are a bigger value for the DIY crowd than what can comparatively be done with QBs. Can reach the same coverage with better, not higher, PPFD and still afford EoD treatments, 660nm, and UV.
