Welcome aboard! You don't have to spend a ton of money and a first time grow can be great if you do your home work. First you have to have great genetics and good soil, I say soil since it is what is best for a new grower. Secondly is you have to have the pH dialed in, around 6.5 for soil is good, so a means to test pH is important. A good meter is a great investment. Read the grow below and you will see a great grow doesn't have to be expensive. This is a great site, not a bunch of hating, just some damned good down to earth people. I am far from real experienced, but the best growers on the planet would agree, research, research and then research some more.
