First I'd like to say that this forum seems like an awesome place! I still have never put a seed in soil, but reading lots of posts here have already teached me a lot on how to hopefully be successful. I think I'm ready for a grow this year:hot:

I'm living in the southeastern part of Norway, the "warm and sunny" part that is, which is a very relative term when it comes to Norway:D In general we can expect 90 days of decent to good growing conditions where I am at, add 2-3 weeks on top of that during the best summers. I'm planning an outdoor guerilla grow this summer and have picked some strains already (Auto Assassin, Russian Rocket Fuel, Dr. Feelgood fem., Mi5 and Fast Bud fem.). Seeds are on their way, keeping my fingers crossed that the customs don't stop them for their own grow:finger:

In tough conditions I suppose fully autos are the best shot for a successful grow for unexperienced guys like me. To increase my chance of success I will start my grow in a greenhouse. I will germinate the seeds indoors and then move them into pots in the greenhouse right away. At the moment the night temps might drop as low as 5-6 ºC. I wonder wether or not this will kill or stun my babies, and if so what night temps do I need to achieve successful sprouting inside a greenhouse? I have to say the nights are quite short here now, just about 6-7 hours from sunset till sunrise. My plants will not be in the sun all the time though, but on average they will get about 8-9 hours of direct sunlight every day. Daytime temps will reach low 20's at sunny days and 12-15 ºC cold and rainy days. Will the daytime temps be a problem for my babies? The temps will raise through june and july.

Any advice is much appreciated:thumbs:

Low 20's is still a little cool.Iwould wait a while for it to warm up ,they don't like cool or cold temps.

Namvet's correct. You want germinating seeds and seedlings to be around 26 degrees. 20 isn't terrible after they are into their veg stage but that's a little too cool for younger plants. I to suggest waiting or starting them inside for a month first, but if you do that, make sure you 'harden' then off before they go outside. That is gradually giving them 2-3 hours of sunlight a day so that they can get used to the power of it since they've been inside.

Thx guys:bow: Quick answers, I love that! Even when the answers were a little diffferent than what i hoped for..... Always best to know the truth tho:hump:

I'll def wait a bit longer then. Going to spend that waiting time on isolating my greenhouse with some styrofoam to trap as much heat as possible for the little ones.

A little something for the wait www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ2gQ6KVg94:head:

Also read up here as much as you possibly can before you get started, this is a perfect time. Good luck man.

Thx, Squid! lots of nice stuff here that is really helpful, although I would say that the outdoor-section of the forum probably is the weakest one.... Hopefully I can help a little bit there:lol:

Does any1 know if autos are more or less delicate to cold/cool conditions than photos, or is this only strain dependent?
