New Grower Hi All :) 2nd grow has Begun.....

Also re-measured the Plant heights from the dirt this time....
LOL! My first grow, Waira took me under his wing (among others) and I used to drive him crazy with height pics! :smoking:
A Stanley tape has a three inch body, so I would set that on the soil and run the tape up. If the tape said 20", you had 23".
Drove my Friend crazy! :funny:
:size:

Hey bro sorry about the lack of replies, as you know I've been having visa/immigration issues to deal with.

I really like the way you're putting up your info like this now.

Last feed this eve ...8ml Grow A/B + 5ml root Juice per 5litre
Temp - 25 deg
Humid - 50%
PH - 6.4
Heights range - 10" / 14"

Two things I'd change. I'd say 1.6ml Sensi Grow A/B + 1ml Root Juice per litre. It's easier than having to calculate what is 8/5 for people reading. Most people work off per litre, not per five litres (except for TaNg that is :) )

Second thing I'd change is in one place you wrote 600ppm. The problem with ppm is there are 3 different ppm standards, depending on where you are in the world. So 1000ppm to one person is 1400ppm to another person, which is a big difference. The solution? Use EC instead. It's much simpler and it's standard across the world.

Thirdly I'd also perhaps add the light distance to those figures. As looking at the photo I reckon you could drop the light distance just a touch, maybe 3-4 inches easily. Then you'll be raising them an inch or two every day or two as the plants are now in their grow tall fast stage (stretching).

Your plants are looking good. Those dots on the leaves if they get any darker that would be a calcium deficiency if it's happening on the upper leaves. When you're showing pictures of leaves that look anything but 100% healthy you must do a photo close up of the leave, plus a photo of that plant full length and make it clear where that leaf issue is happening on the plant. For example a dot on a leave on the upper half of the plant could be calcium. But if the dot is on the lower half and the top half is fine, then it's definitely not calcium. This is because some nutrients are mobile and some are immobile. Meaning the plant has trouble transporting certain nutrients and they deficiencies will show up on different parts of the plant. Dont' worry about that too much for now but definitely show where on the plant it's happening. Also take photos of your plants in natural light, especially ones that are having issues.

Looking good though bro, keep up the good work. Show us another height pic there to keep Red happy would ya ;)

Yol HaPPY!!!!!! No worries your busy.......undermining player =ing elsewhere..:worship:

OK on your first point: On how most people work off per Ltr ...changing info ways..sweet for that letting me know

Plenty of information as always love it BRO!!!

Second: I'd change is in one place you wrote 600ppm...........EC it is SOOOO!!!!!!! TAA Again...

Thirdly: Thirdly I'd also perhaps add the light distance to those figures......Interesting You mentioned this, As i Was Delayed putting them under strong lights til day 20..........MASSIVE changes in 5 DAYS! since Re-potting and strong lights...WAW! Since then i have been lowering ....And lowered acouple more 2night, they currently between 3" to an 1" AWAY from 300mm.. will now be raising them inch or so as you mentioned to stretch Phase.... !:smokeit:

Its the first time I've really started to see a difference on every day.......with the increased Airflow(CO2) heat temps, humdiy, better start , enviro, correclty watching and posting, proper watering and the increasing grow schedule, with the second grow on route towards the better 3rd grow, i canna wait, already looking at these girls thinging about the next seedlings..hahha

the first grow is drying on day 6 now ...ready for curing.... Just tired a spliff of the dried first grow... Pretty SPACED....Smell reminds me of chch..:pass:

Well if HAPPYS ..........happy im happY  happyhappyhappy......

And MASSIVE info ON the 1 Dotted leaf Plant....ill keep an EYE on Her.......An probably re-read your post a few more timesssss!!!...ill post natural lights on sum.... soon as PIE! MMMmmmmmm pieeeeee

Hey bro that is looking FANTASTIC! A few of your comments I want to reply to firstly.

EC - Need EC reader!!
No bro you have one. That Bluelabs Truncheon I gave you. That is hands down the BEST ec reader on earth. Use it.

Funny to see day 25 girl has out grown day 80
Yip! Imagine how much bigger the buds will be this time...

Its the first time I've really started to see a difference on every day.......with the increased Airflow(CO2) heat temps, humdiy, better start , enviro, correclty watching and posting, proper watering and the increasing grow schedule
Exactly bro, you're starting to get everything "dialled in" now... it's all about
  • ENVIRONMENT
  • air flow (intake and extraction removing hot air that's stale and lacking CO2)
  • air circulation (is there some wind inside the room moving the CO2 around and making the leaves and branches move)
  • temperate (is it warm during the day and not too cool at night, preferably day 23-27 and night 20-23 celcius)
  • humidity (is the slightly humid during veg 45-65% and is it slightly dry during flowering 35-55%)
  • LIGHT
  • light intensity - PAR and light spectrum (you've got enough watts and you've got a nice mixture of LED and HPS light there)
  • light distance (keeping the lights the right distance for the various stages of growth, which for me equals as close as possible without damaging them lol)
  • NUTRIENTS
  • pH (is it right for the nutrient you are growing in which is 6.3 for Plagron Lightmix)
  • EC (is it strong enough for the right stage of growing, basically start at quarter strength and each feed increase slightly)
    MEDIUM & ROOTS
  • pot size (is the pot big enough to allow a massive root growth 10 litres minimium, but 15 is good, 20 is even better if you find that the 15 pots roots are completely pot bound, however with air pots the 15 litres usually outperform standard 20 litre pots so you should be good )
  • is the medium you are using good quality and suited for this kind of plant (plagron lightmix is very good)
  • are the roots getting enough oxygen (drainage needs to be good, hence why plagron lightmix has added perlite, that white stuff)
Once ALL of the above factors are at 100% your plants will grow 100%. If only one of these factors is 50% and all the rest is 100% your plants will only grow at 50%

You've got all this sorted and now very close to 100% your plants are growing an inch a day and they're nice healthy dark green. This is perfect.

However veg is easy... it's flowering that you gotta be extra careful during... especially during week 4-5 of flowering. This is when they go through a growth burst in flower size. This is when nutrient deficiencies can show up in a matter of 24 hours. This is when you have to be ready to give them all the extra potassium (P) and phosphorus (K) that they need. Essentially that means adding something like Big Bud and giving them as much of that as they need / can handle.

You've got one week left of veg so they're going to get a fair big bigger. Then they'll slow down growing and start concentating on making pistals (the white hairs) which will eventually create small pistal balls (the very beginning of buds) at this stage you want to be giving them Big Bud.
