I didnt know where to put this as I want to do them indoors outdoors and in the greenhouse.

I have started my first hempy buckets without a full understanding of what im doing (the more mistakes I make the more I learn  )

If anyone is using them (i know a few here are) please discus your methods, watering feeding medium....

Im using deep hydro pots in a large plastic container, instead of each pot having its own small res at the bottom of the pot im letting the bottom of the container fill up with about 1.5" of water/feed. would it be worth adding a air stone to the bottom of the container to keep the water from going stale and get lots of air into it making it like a hempybucket/dwc hybrid

I hadnt thought of that yet, do I need to have perlite at the bottom of the container that the pots are sitting in?

AMEN to that Bro...

I'd love to have her for a trimmer... dont have her number handy do ya? (ahem... and thats not all!)

Of course if the prop guy for that photo shoot knew what he was doing, she would be holding a pair of Fiskars Softouch Spring-Action Scissors instead of those pruning shears! :hump:

Or maybe put a nug in her hand wtf is she doing with that? lol still nice to look at

LOL... doesn't need to trim at all.. just be there when its done to smoke and.. well... play

I am also growing this way at the moment. 1 gallon buckets with a hole drilled 2 inches from the bottom. Bucket is filled with 100% perlite. I am currently running a test using Osmocote time released fertilizer, which last approximately 3 months. Some pics of my girls taken this morning.

is the any benifit adding molasses to my water for the hempy buckets?

I stuck a 1/4" tank conector to the side of a hempy bucket, if I can get it to drain and not block up with roots, perlite & salts I will add them to all my hempy buckets, it will mean less underground drainage to build in the greenhouse and make things easyer for my indoor grows. I think a hempy greenhouse grow will set some new AF yeild records.. In dirt alone they were massive.

Seeing how well they've worked for you guys, i am putting some thought into doing a bucket indoors. The only thing really stopping me is i really want to do a run with CoCo.

I look forward to seeing some testing done before i jump in.
