Hello!
I t is my first grow and I am running into some problems
They are about 2 months old, just started the flowering stage, the fan leaves has some dark spots, the ones affected has purpleish stems , not sure if it is calcium def or P or K toxicity . i thought was some type of fungus on leaves and defoliated all the leaves affected, sprayed some neem oil as well but didnt work, so no fungus??
I've flushed with ph 6.5 the run off it is 6.2,
im using maxibloom from general hydroponics 5-15-14 , 7 g for 4 litres, ph water around 6.3-6.5 and using a product called trace elements with lots of nutrients :

It's normal for some strains to have purple stems.I would go easy with the bloom nutes being there very high on pk.Also your micro nutes are very high in numbers so maybe lower dose in half.Try using just cal/mag alone if you can get it.

Thanks!
That looks like calmag def to me, the brown/copper spots on leaves along with the red on stems would lead me to believe that..The purple-ish on stems could be either strain related or serious calmag def, I'm leaning more towards the calmag since you are seeing visible spots on leaves....

If you were feeding properly, using correct pH, having reasonable environment, and using a good fertilizer, then you shouldn't have any problems.
My opinion is you are over-feeding, and those gold splotches and yellowing leaf tips are common when over-feeding.

The last thing you want to be doing is to chase non-existent deficiencies, which will likely yoyo you around, and make things worse.
Food for our plants becomes poison when they are given too much.

So what i should do? just ph water and cal/mag?

Just reduce feed down and try to add some CalMag if you can get it. I would try a half strength feed. The leaves that are affected will not improve, and might only get worse, and that doesn't mean the situation is worse. You will have to watch the flowers and the new growth in the flowers.

I might even just ph tap water and feed her that one time.

Good advice

:point: no, not more Ca-Mg, that supplement is loaded, plus some of it is in sulfate form, instantly available,... Since the pH is good, and the regular nutes have Ca and Mg in them, I'm betting this is a toxicity induced defc.,.... also, how close are the lights? i see some intensity stress signs on the upper leaves,....

past 2 day ive been feeding with 4g/4litre maxibloom + 15 ml Magnesium (Mg) as lignosulfonate chelate 1.25%
no progress, i got 3 plants with the same problem.
first image it is my strongest plant with not many problems just few leaves with dark spots
2 plants it is a new york diesel autoflower most of leaves are with those dark spots.
3rd plant speed auto + after i gave the formula 4g/4litres + 15ml magnesium, the tip of the leaves started to curled up and it has a faded green color.
I flushed again, trying to get rid of excess nutes.
The top of the plants are around 15 cm from the lights , viper spectra 300w.
Not sure what to do now,
so should i feed plain ph water?
or keep adding maxibloom + the other nutes?

Cheer!

So i tried to 4g /4 litre maxibloom +15ml/4litre magnesium and it got worse, not sure because of magnesium or maxibloom :pass:
