Help young seedling! Weird twisting

I've seen it on all my grows. I think your soil ph is whack. Perform a run off test using 6.5 water for input and let us know the ph of the first 4 ounces of run off is.
Are you using a seed starter mix. If so, I'd be interested in knowing the brand name. I've been using Burpee Organic.

Having really low run offs, aorund 5.8, even though watering with pure 6.5

I don;t have the bag with me, but I have never had a problem like that. I just flushed it with pure 6.5... hopefully that helps. Have never seen it that low. I wonder if I move it to happy frog and bigger container and water with 6.5 if it will balance out

Here are some pics, in starter seedling , fed ph balanced water under T5s.. anybody see this before? the weird twisting. Strain is whiteberry

***Genetics!!!! Got a Whiteberry that had the same deformations per say, she has the same wrinklin' and she's funny-lookin' but, healthy and growin normal so... Treat it as any other and shud be fine, (unless I got lucky). Sometimes these can be abnormal/size-wise i've heard, can create a monster. Mines doin ok, she's swellin'-up pretty good now @ day-53.:smoke:

***Pic @ 2wks and present day-53. Good-luck w/the grow M8 ***Pluggit-w/a-Nuggit***Btw***Does Whiiberries smell lovely also...

***Got more on it on my [First Grow] thread, as I was havin the same issue and didnt know what it was. Might help...

I think Muddy or JM or others will weigh in with some more solid advice, but I would water in at 6.8 or maybe even at 7.0 to get the run off at 6.2 or higher until you transplant. You still need to test the run off on the final containers to make sure the soil ph is good before transplanting. Otherwise it'll be same shit different day. Mix a lot of perlite into the Happy Frog... That shit is dense.
Best of luck with the girls...

Ph was not an issue with the Whiteberry I have, and mine had the same thing goin on, (not statin' that it cudn't be ph, mine just wasnt), this is my first grow so I know Jack shit to be givin advice, I germed a 2nd wb with the same soil/setup and ph levels were all the same, and that ones normal. Found someone else's thread on the same condition and the convo was about the genetics and was pinpointed to that direction, I know you cant believe everything you read but thats the third one w/ the same conditions as mine and yours that I know about. The growth will be normal as any other, besides the wrinkling of the leaves/deformations. 6.3 is were my ph has been @ the whole grow. Give or take a.1or.2. Just a thot...By all means I'm not stating that it is genetics, just were the arrows are pointing @ the moment/until specified otherwise....My wb still has it @ Day-54 and its doin' juuust fine!!! Smells bomb-dig 2!!! :peace:
