Indoor Help! What's wrong with my plants?

Water source is tap water that I usually let sit for 1-2 days b4 I mix.
Ph usually at 5.8-6.2.

I originally had a guide that was "professional" for all of his 2 grows lol, but to a noob like me he seemed like a pro with his 3 plant grows. At least until I did a bit of research online about ph and ppm and found out he knew diddly, but b4 I had figured this bit out there were several minor small symptoms with a few clones that he brought to me. They had later found out to be a bad case of spider mites and what he said was nute overdose. Which being the curious noob that I am, I went online and found similar symptoms. The ones I found were from Cal + N deficiency. Obviously me being a noob, my findings were mistaken. But I bombed and sprayed anyways and researched further. All signs pointed to me underfeeding And needed at least more Calmag. But he assured me that AN coco formulas had all bases covered.
So I went on and experimented with a couple of of the plants by adding some extra calmag on a separate mix. It turned out that the ones with added calmag looked to do a whole lot better. So I further researched and started going against my guide to his dismay. I've since fired my guide and have relied more on YouTube.

But as far as hands on. I AM a noob. I believe I have so much to learn and am quite willing to. So upon my research I found so threads about defoliation by Doc Bud, which led me to these forums . And so here I am. Lol canabis grower's life story in a flash... the noob version lol

Brother @Waira asked me to pop by and have a look at whats going on for you.
I think he has been accurate in what's been said, and I'd put the likely issues as follows:
First, the strength of the AN nutes you mixed in your rez was VERY weak, from your description.
In the future, I'd recommend that you start nutes at 1/4 strength of the container directions for the first week or so, then start increasing it to 1/2 strength once you have 3-4 sets of real leaves. Within a week after that, you should be able to mix nutes at 2/3 to 3/4 strength (MAX, until you have a few grows done). It looks like your girls were perpetually hungry, and that will cause the kinds of mixed readings of the causes you're seeing.
Also, regarding your rez... Are you feeding them on a timer? Do you get any runoff after each feeding? Some of the leaf issues you're seeing can be caused by incomplete moisture in the coco medium. I had a similar issue, early in my coco learning, where I had dry spots, and it made my leaves pretty wonky.
Another thing to check... What is the humidity of your grow area? If it fluctuates a whole bunch, or if its very dry or very wet, it can cause the plants to have trouble "breathing" efficiently. This will start the plant into a nute imbalance, and can show up as curled under leaves, and partially necrotic leaf sets. My first photos under a drip system, AN nutes, and LEDs had a bad case of cal mag def, and it was because I didnt supplement with cal mag-even though I too thought the AN Sensi Coco would have enough. I've since decided that all grows under my LEDs will use a cal mag supplement, and its been smooth sailing!
One last thing to be mindful of with your rez.. What is the temoerature of the nute liquid while its in the rez? It should never get over 72-74 degrees (f), or you can get blooms of funk happening, and that funk can cause root issues-rot and gumming up the nute intake. I have been using large coolers (48 qt and up) so that the insulation of the cooler can keep the nute temp down, in my room. And, I always keep my rez outside of the tent/closet, so the room temp is lower for the rez.
As others have said, the damage is done-at least to the leaves that are crispy/damaged, but to work on getting the nute strength up to 1/2 strength, adding a cal mag supplement (I use Botanicare Calmag+, others are fine, as well), and making sure your rez juice isn't too hot, temp wise, should get you through this one with a harvest. And, for your next run, let me know if you'd like me to follow along. Believe me!! I've made every coco mistake! And, thankfully, learned from most of 'em! lolol
Tokes to you!

Thank you so much for stopping by and thanks Waira for bringing u here.
The Res temp stay at room temp. When I started it got pretty hot, but I've since added several fans and a vent system so temp fluctuate between70-80(awake), at times cooler depending on outside temp and 60-65 sleeping.
I've since increases nutes, calmag, molasses, liquid seaweed, .. etc.. and they're looking great. I will post some pix in a few days hopefully you or someone here can tell me a close time frame to when I should harvest?
Yes I would be quite thankful if you stopped by when I start my next grow. I plan on trying out autos and a combination of Dwc + coco because I faced over watering issues a few times.
Can you recommend a good auto (and where to order) that delivers to USA? I'm looking for one that will give best yield and thc level. 8-11 or longer weeks is fine. Just something that's a bit forgiving for a noob like me.

Just PM me when you start your journal, and I'll sub up and follow along, Brother:smoking:
If you want some POTENT autos, and righteous genetics, you cannot go wrong with anything Mephisto. I can highly recommend the Chemdogging and SODK, for both potency and yield-and, that's just scratching the surface!

Dinafem and Dutch Passion have some fantastic auto strains, as well (their seeds can be purchased through seedbanks, like The Vault, Attitude, and others, in the US), and if you visit the private breeder section on AFN, there is a World full of GREAT small production auto genetics to enjoy, too.
Good to hear your Ladies are looking better!
Cheers

Ah ya got some great advice up in here, and I even learned something about coco holding onto K (Potassium. K is the chemical element letter for Potassium, remember that stupid Periodic Table of elements from high school lol? Ya might have to download and put one up to glance at it once in awhile haha!) :)

As for autos, pretty much any of the good name brands around here will make great plants you'll enjoy. You might find autos easier, but they can be picky lil bitches sometimes haha. As for ordering, everyone seems to have their own favorite seedbank and good and bad experiences with some, but I like Seedsman seed bank and they deliver to the US just fine. It takes awhile and sometimes the shipping gets expensive, but I guess that's just part of the price to pay to play lol.
