Live Stoner Chat Help meeeeeee please

after looking at the plants, not as bad as I thought. those yellow leaves are normal at the stage those plants are. those nice buds are sucking the juice out of the leaves. this is supposed to happen. the spots look like cal/ mag issue. I also use general hydro ph up/down. there are things in your household you can use , like Epsom salts.

most of what I feed plants has some cal/mag in it. but led lights seem to suck it out of plants. so you need additional amounts.

It's not like mega bad defs no, I've seen much worse on photos I've grown in the past!
But I just can't seem to get my yields to budge up past an oz a plant..... First grow I gave ph down and loads of biobizz and that plant was mega bad, next couple of grows I kept ph adjusting and gave slightly less feed which improved things slightly, the current grow however has had no pH down and minimal feed.... They're on day 48 now and on 2ml grow and 2ml bloom a litre and that's it!
Each grow looked better than the last but yet the yields remained the same, barring the first plant of course! But 3 grows after and I'm still on an oz a plant and problems showing up again!
I'll have to grab some calmag and a ph pen for the next grow, gonna let this one ride out as is now to see what yield it produces and see if I've made any difference by stopping pH adjustment and lowering the ferts :)
Was starting to think my light isn't capable of more than 2oz but I don't think that's right!

your thoughts on lighting are correct. one panel with 175 true watts is a little lite. pun intended:pass: I run 475 true watts in both my tents. and keep no more than four plants per tent, usually no more than three. sometimes smaller autos will only produce two or three oz's but I would not be happy without at least four oz's per plant. some of the ones that reach four to five feet will give six oz's.

I have seen grow journals with the same light as mine produce 4oz regularly though.... I'd be happy with 2oz a plant, that would give me enough meds to last but I just can't seem to reach it!

to be honest I have no knowledge of bio bizz . but it sounds like a change in nutrients may be needed. I use a bunch of different stuff. all organic (or claim to be organic) from sea salt to azomite. have been fine tuning my indoor mix for ten years.all under led lighting.

Been thinking of changing nutes to be fair dude... Thanks for all your help BTW, its hard to find genuine answers sometimes!
Just gotta keep trying and slowly get my yields up :p

The problem with " a rough idea" is that each .10 change up or down is actually a 10 times more or less acid! each full point is 100x! an accurate PH pen is vital to growing weed indoors in any medium except organic, and even then, the best grows will come from PH'ing your water. It hurts to spend $80-$120 for a PH meter but it will pay for itself. When I started, all I could afford was a cheap pen. it worked for about 2 months then screwed up and total ruined a DWC grow and I mean ruined! Think of the value of the weed you do grow...... a good pen pays for itself in one grow!

The one I use has replaceable probes and I spend $50 a year to replace them. It will last longer than that but I don't care, i like the peace of mind knowing I have a fresh probe.

Your light is decent and not a factor i've grown a 3/4lb plant in the past with shitty Chinese burple lights. Your problem is not having control of the root environment, ie, PH and nutrient levels you really also need a PPM or EC meter, you can get by with a fairly cheap one, I've used an HM TDS3 for 3 years now. cost me $22 shipped.

These are tools of the trade for canna growers, without them it like a mechanic trying to fix yourt catr with a pair of pliers........... ain't going to happen..lol!

Thanks for the replies peeps, my pH is 7.6-7.9 before mixing nutes in, after mixing my nutes it goes down to around 6.8.......
I was under the impression that biobizz worked with water up to a pH of 8 maximum?
Sadly my pH pen was cheap and I never got a reliable reading, always moving up and down and never settling so I never trusted it tbf.....money is a bit of an issue right now so I was thinking of ph drops instead of a pen, I know they aren't as accurate but I thought it would give me a rough enough reading when working with biobizz because it buffers itself..... Am I right in thinking this?
Also, my water is always sat for at least 24hrs before use!

I'll upload some pictures in 5 hours when the girls wake up :)

Get some Megacrop and you won't need 15 bottles of crap to grow a plant! It has everything your plant could need including Cal/mag. Since I've switched I've had the best nutrient fed grows ever. Mix it, ph it, done!
