Help me troubleshoot this MI5

I started five MI5 beans last week, and 4 of them have been doing great. Even the 2 that I have in the party cup grow off is doing great. But one, is looking rough. All are getting the same PHed water, are in the same soil mix, and under the same t5 fixture. The only difference that I know of, is I started this one in a peat cup. I cut the bottom out of the peat cup when I slid it into the party cup, so I am pretty sure that the root is not bound up. The party cup also has the bottom removed.

Here is the troubled plant. IMAG0062 (Custom).jpg
Here are some pics of its' siblings planted at the same time.

These are all at 8 days from sprouting.
Any Idea what's up???

Thanks for any help

im usually stoned when im forums surfing but someone on here was using jiffy pellets to start seedlings and they were dying off unusually more often than before and he was a avid user of jiffy that he even tried and bought the jiffy soil no luck his seedlings were still dying so he looked up the ingredients for the jiffy pellets and soil and it contained a high percentage of peat and since you said this is the only one with peat it rang a bell i know im a noob and im quoting someone elses work and research but he found out that the peat after breaking down makes the soil very very acidic so that might be your problem cant remember what thread so i cant post a link sorry but it might be the peat hope this helps

iluvindica is telling you some good info!

I was thinking, Pic 1 looks like over watering. Or your grow medium is staying wet too long. pic 2 is good to go. Pic 3 looks like it could dry out a bit more too, but not as bad.

Edit:

Thought i'd also add, it doesn't look like you have much perlite in the soil. It's a good idea to add some to your soil mix, helps with drainage and makes air pockets in the soil.

Thanks guys,
It is a little late to remove the peat cup. I am leaning toward the soil being too wet. I have needed to water the others twice since planting, and plant number 1 has not needed water since the initial watering. I am using Sunshine#4, and 1 cup of perlite per gallon of soil. I guess that is not enough perlite, or I missed getting perlite well mixed throughout the soil. Since I am using the tiered planting method, I will add some perlite to the bottom pot, and see if that helps.

Thanks

@iluvindica, we all are repeating someone elses research here friend, no shame in it. Wether it be the hands on expeirence from someone elses advice (indirectly) or directly like quoteing someone else. Either way its regurgitating knowledge...hahaha

Homie, sunshine #4 should be good out of the bag for PH. It also has perlite in it. If i remember correctly it is the big nugget kind? I like to mix some smaller perlite into sinshine#4.

I wouldn't mess too much with the bottom cup yet, you could damage roots.. Are you transplanting them into a bigger container to finish? If so just mix some into that.

Until then i would let that #1 plant dry out some more. Seems strange it's only taken one watering.. Makes me wonder if some thing else is going on. Keep us posted on it.

The roots have not made it to the bottom pot yet. I use 20 oz cups for the top pot, and 1 gallon mayo jugs for the lower pot, using FDs' tiered method. So far no roots have made it to the bottom of the top cup. I still have a chance to amend the soil, but I am going to let it be, and see what happens. This is only one seedling out of 5 so I will be OK if I lose it. I would prefer not to, but you learn from your mistakes. I learned not to use to hot a soil in my first attempt at autoflowers, as I ended up with one stunted female HBD, out of five, and zero SR out of 4. So my ratio is getting better. These autoflowers are some touchy heifers. But I am learning and getting better. And that is all that matters.

Thanks for the help.

Just so no one is confused because it is confuseing. There is 2 different kinds of sspm4. There is sunshine advanced promix 4 & there is sunshine promix 4, the latter comes in a blck bale w/ blue letter. It isn't as good imo as ssapm4, all tho if you plan to amend its perfect. Here's a pic of the ssa bale...
