New Grower Help! I can't remember

I keep a few notes and have a few threads bookmarked but probably 95% + of what I do here is from memory. I've always had good recall but I work at keeping my mind sharp. The Mrs. is amazed sometimes that I can recall all the sidemen on a 1938 Count Basie recording yet can't remember to take out the trash! I know a lot has been made about smoking weed causing memory loss, especially short term, but personally that's not been the case.

I just have this mental image of stoner guys of a certain age shuffling around in their slippers and smoking jacket, wearing a fez and wondering why they're standing in the garage
" I came in here for something, let me see if I go and have another smoke maybe I'll remember, oh crap where did I put my stash, those bloody mice have stolen it again, it's not like it was in the 70s" grumble, grumble, bloody kids etc
