Hehe ! I lost to impatience ! Hooked up the new light .. its quite bright , couldnt look at it directly .. lets see how it works .. also let me know if some signs appear that she is not liking the new light ..

- The light is 8 inches from top of seedling to light surface ... Their instructions say it should be at 6 inches from 'top canopy' , but the light is so bright that I thought 6 inches would be too close ( it hurts my eyes, so for watering and photos, I put up that white LED again just for 5 mins.. ) .. also, I counted the temperature at the top of seedling after putting up this new light every 2 hrs for 24 hrs .. it stays between 25 C to 29 C / 77 F to 84.2 F

- She seems to be loving the new light, her new pair of leaves seem to be coming out faster and she seems to be getting bigger faster .. but then again, it could just be my wishful mind playing tricks because of this new grow light ..

- Also, Bigg Al, you are super ! That breeze setting you told me seems to have done the job for sure. Her stalk is now standing straight in crisp attention !

So are we in veg state now ? .. or still she is a seedling ? when do we count day 1 of veg ?

Yes ! Right now I am checking out your northern lights grow ... also, which is the best light cycle for autos ? .. 24 - 0 , 20 - 4 or 18 - 6 ? .. Even if its an auto, will some dark period do good to her?
Right now I am running 20 - 4 cycle.

Right now she seems to be loving 20/4; but if need be can be switched to 18/6.

If that works for you dont change, I do it to save cost in electricity.

She seems to have liked the new grow light very much .. her 3rd pair of leaves is coming out .. positively her growth speed has increased. Also, do her leaves look indica dominant or too early to say ?

Seems to be doing well so far .. her foliage seems to be opening up fast, looks healthy and the stalk seems to be holding it up straight .. the stalk still looks pretty thin though .. and yes, there is a mild fan breeze that keeps moving her throughout... soil was getting dry so watered and misted her with clean tap water. pH 7.
Temp and humidity fine.
