New Grower Hello guys looking for a bit of advice with scrog’s.

Are they the main stems the two tallers buds, one I can see at the bac and one in the bottom right hand corner

Nope, they’re just the ones I didn’t carry on training. The main stem on the left plant is in the back left corner.

And another issue I found I would of had at that would of been in to water them, think I need them in self feeding pots, but as I said did to late

Right just bout a box of screws from Lidl for 2.99 bargin box of 600, so going to screw screws around the top of the pots, so I can then tie bac the branches to open the plant up

It’s plastic mesh used for growing peas on, cable tied to the poles around the outside. Also there’s a brick tied to string in the middle to weigh it down cos the plants really push upwards.

There’s two plants there, both autos. Hubbabubbasmelloscope is the big one and Cheese XXL is the smaller frostier one. This was my first attempt at scrogging autos cos they usually don’t need it, but both of these strains go big especially in auto pots so I thought I’d best take action.

Seems to have worked. [emoji6]
Looking good Vlad!

I trimmed the lowers in week 4 and it greatly helped with watering plus working under the canopy. Also the trimming helps to get more air circulation underneath.
My plants also responded very well to the trim. Yesterday i cleared out a few light blockers on the net and seeing a difference this morning

Right that’s the pots all with screws in the top of pot, so I can get some pipe cleaners tomorrow and tie down the branches, as to open the plant up, I’m going to trim the lower leafs tomorrow, but in doing that, it’s not going to affect the plant, cause the big leaves, arnt they how it draws it air in through the fan leaves?

Also should I be worried as to how the plant is dropping, I just feed them with 0.5ml per ltr of plant magic old timers bloom and magne cal, each plant had about a litre of water and feed, is it just overwatered? Or something more serious

How long had the lights been on when you took the pics mate?

They been on since 6am and took pic 2pm, but think it’s where I was opening and closing the tent, lost some of the heat, but looking lovely today

Cool. [emoji41]

Maybe they were just about to hit a growth spurt. Plants normally look like that when the lights are off tho, sleeping. [emoji6]

The other thing I was gonna ask is if the pots were sitting in water in those trays, cos too much water can cause that too. They’re probably a bit too big to over water now tho.

I usually let the soil dry out before watering so when I water, the water pretty much goes straight through the soil and finds out in the tray, but within 10-15 mins it sucks all the excess water in the tray, so never sat in water for very long
