Right at the start the paper towel was way to wet. We want moist but not soaking . She does look to have sprouted and now she is in her medium we should have a new Dinafem baby joining the AFN fun

Sorry for a bit of late update .. Life and stuff ! hehe !

Here are the progress pics..

Ok ! I could take this pic because the medium is really soft and the layer above the seed being thin got gently washed away .. ( I do Not pour water directly over the seed, I water around it ! ) .. so I took the opportunity to record growth.

...covered up gently with medium again ..no pushing or patting down ! :-

Matchstick is just a pointer kept to indicate exact seed location till sapling comes out ! Hopefully real soon !

I just watered it so medium looks a bit wet .. but it drains good and medium gets damp, doesnt remain wet !

Cropkingseeds method is what I use, ive only germinated cks seeds and I use their method because Id like to have new seeds if they don't work, and they have a garenteed 80% germination method and ive gotten 90-100% so the 13/14 ive tried worked.. id only ever use this method altho I would go with whatever the breeder suggests if it was a different companys seed and they said to use a different method. or if it wasn't auto idk. but try the CKS way, I know it works good with their seeds. I took a pic just incase I didn't get 80% germination and I didn't even order online, local despencarys and smoke/grow shops sell seeds. mostly just cks cuz I live here in Canada, would love to try some Dutch Passion Genetics and some Dinafem. thiers a grow shop on the other side of town that has them so maybe next grow, rn I got the WW and AH haze auto's going on day 34, Good luck.

ive never really seen a plate with dirt method b4.. ive Germinated seeds b4 I was ready b4 cuz I'm anxious to get started but I don't have everything I need or everything ready yet. I use soil and bottled nutes, for soil I got a big bail of some sungro pro mix [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] I believe from local grow shop. cheaper then a bunch of smaller bags of potting soil and had lots of perlite.. I'm using DNF dutch nutrients formula Veg A & B and GreenPlaned Hydro Fuel Bloom A&B. its what i started with and its worked good. its the cheapest at the local grow shop so I'm sticking w. it altho this summer I'm growing outdoors and I'm gonnna try mixing up my own organic soil so I can just water them.

Heres a pic of the bail I got for like 35$ Good luck man.. I'm up here in Canada.. you? Cannabis will be legal soon , right now thiers dispencarys and grow shops on every street. if u have en ID u can sign up and buy Medical Cannabis anywhere, its Great. I Really feel for the ppl who live places where its still Illegal.. I went and looked at WallMart and couldn't find any good lights or soil or nutes. not sayn their isn't any but being winter they don't have much out and it was a smaller wallmart that didn't have much anyway. but if you can go with the grow shop or store that specializes in horticulture. Doesn't have to be a "Weed" GrowShop but I'm sure thiers stores with decent stuff in every city...

This is a method I've also not seen and I have a feeling that the method you use is similar to myself with the "paper towel" tech . Very simple and effective.

A blast ! From The Recent Past !

So .. it all started when friend gave me WH-XXL for germination ..germinated on 16th December... now today is 16th March ! 3 months have passed .. 90 DaYz ! and ...Here She Stands ..

Full Natural Grow .. I dont think he did any cropping topping pruning.. anything ! .. just some organic fertilizer mixed with water for 10 weeks .. and then clean water for last 2 weeks ! I asked him to keep standard size cola bottle there for size perspective.


Now, please guide me regarding when to harvest .. 90 days are done, and we would like to harvest when the trichomes are cloudy and not too much amber ! ..

Here are the zoomed in pics (with his questionable photography skills ! ) ..

So how close are we from the harvest .. or still better zoomed in pics are warranted ? He is nearly ready to harvest it TOMORROW, But ! I was like .. dude wait ! ! let me first ask the Experts !

Just going on the pictures mate she look ready for the chop especially if you don't want Amber trichomes :thumbsup This said do you have any way to check the trichome colour with a loupe or scope? This will give the best time to harvest by trichome colour

She could go another 10-14 days but imo this will only effect the trichome colour and not yield. Most if not all if the weight is on now and they look ripe for the picking :bong
