I've caught the grow bug and it's fierce haha,
Basically I wasn't able to stop myself from not growing through the winter, so I'm trying my hand at indoor. Now that I've had the sweet luxury of fresh homegrown I cant go back.

    Details:
I will actually have things to say now not just "a sunny day" haha

    Tent:
2x2x4.5 (flower side of my vivo 36x24 2in1)

    Light:
marshydro - TS600 (100W, smallest of the TS series, havent seen anyone running one so excited to try it out @MarshydroTina )

    Ventilation:
6" fan for circulation, (exhaust&filter to be added once purchased)

Medium: - 3 gal nursery pot
    1 part composted manure
    1 part worm castings
    1 part perlite
1 part last grow recycled (same mix)

I also added 1/2 recommended dose of bone meal (4-10-0 + 12 calcium) this time
As i seemed to lack a little p in flower with this summer's plants, plus hoping the extra calcium helps under this LED board.

    Nutrients:
    Pro-Mix organic liquid concentrates
(12-6-6) general mix during veg, (3-6-12) tomato mix in flower

    Genetics:
    Dr. Seeds - autoflower Zkittlez
Found these at the local shop and went looking online to find the growers info. When googled it shows up but the link is broken, I emailed them and got very a quick response, so far so good

    Now the goods :)

Shot glassed over night and into soil,
    Germ pad & 15W blurple, 24-0, 8" away
I didnt have my tent yet (like I said I just couldn't stop myself haha) house temp and humidity is about 20C and 50%

    Sprouted 24/10
    20191025_062835.jpg

Had one tiny coytldon and one normal, doesnt seem to have minded,
Just daily mistings of water to keep the soil moist
    Day 7

    To be continued...

    Zkittlez 2nd week
  • Day 14
    20191106_181604.jpg

    Temp: 20-26C
    Rh: 50-70%
    Light: 25" high
    Now at 18-6 cycle
Another 750ish mL today just water again
    Maybe fertigate next watering

Boom :) she's working on her fourth node and I couldn't be happier, my fastest growing plant yet, hoping I can keep this momentum going :woohoo1:
Also loving how fat and round those leaves are
    20191106_182041.jpg

While admiring her I noticed a little bit of leaf edge curling so I just lowered the pot 2"
    Light is now 27" away

    Happy growing everyone

    Zkittlez 3rd Week
  • Day 21

    Light on: 26C 45%rh
    Light off: 19C 65%rh
    750mL watering

The third week comes to a close and Winter has hit us it seems, dropped the humidity in the house by 5-10% the past couple days.
As planned, I snipped the 4th and 5th set of fan leaves, hoping it slows the main down a little bit, let the branching grow out,
    Before
    20191113_211557.jpg

    After
    20191113_211731.jpg

I'm thinking I'll start a little bit of lst, just to guide the branches to open areas but hoping to let this first plant grow and stretch fairly naturally
Up her skirt :eyebrows: branching really well

    Happy growing everyone

    Zkittlez 4th week
  • End of week 4 and the stretch has begun :woohoo1:

    Light on: 26C and 55%
    Light off: 20C and 80%
    1L fertigation saturday
    1L water today

Still no lst, she seems to be growing pretty wide anyway
    20191120_185152.jpg
    20191120_185208.jpg

A little after the first dose of nutes, I had noticed slight yellowing of the tips which I had thought was nute burn, so last fertigation I kept it at about 1/3 recommended, and now that she has stretched up and I can see everything a little better, I noticed this rear fan leaf
    20191120_185041.jpg

Looks like what i thought was nute burn was probably slight P def and now the stretch has brought it on hard:doh:
I'm thinking a 2/3ish recommended dose of my veg this next fertigation, and see what happens, probably switch to flowering nutes after that anyway, maybe I should start putting a shot of molasses in my water only days, I think that has a little P among other goods?

And as planned, we are 4 weeks in so...
    20191120_184959.jpg

look who showed her, unfortunately capped, little head this afternoon:d5:
Hopefully I can pop it off no harm and keep it going.
This was the first time I have tried straight into final pot rather than my germ pad, still shotglassed over night and pre-soaked the pot, and I dug out a small cup sized hole and filled it with my seedling mix,
Simply extra worm poop and perlite added to regular mix to lighten it up, castings are amazing,
Anyway, so far so good  not sure which I prefer,
I'm thinking I just wont water the pot this week, unless of course she starts to droop, I noticed with this first plant all that composted manure and ewc in my mix stays damp much longer than outside, until the plant is actually drinking it between 2 and 3 weeks.

    Happy growing everyone

    Zkittlez 5th Week
  • The 5th week comes to an end, and I'm crossing my fingers that the stretch has too
    20191127_062750.jpg

She has grown an inch a day the past two weeks,
Main is Only 13" from the light now, still nicely spread out just letting her do her thing,
    20191127_062813.jpg

I have one more foam block to remove if I start seeing some stress to the tops before I have to get creative
She's kind of taking over the tent haha
I'm starting to think I should go with smaller pots, save the 3 gals for outside

And as you can see there is no week old seedling in the second pot there...
The seed case came off, looked a little funky but I was optimistic...
    20191122_061418.jpg

However in the tent two days later...
    20191126_062328.jpg

Looks like the roots hit the manure and she burned right up, I guess I didnt make a large enough pocket of seedling soil in the center
Probably going back to little pots and my germ pad from now on haha

    Happy growing everyone

    Zkittlez 6th week
  • 6 weeks down, The stretch has stopped... I think,
    20191204_061704.jpg

we are sitting at 28" tall main cola and those four main branches that came from the 2nd and 3rd node are about 4" shorter
    20191204_061619.jpg

She has been drinking more the past 2 weeks
About 1.5L every two days rather than twice a week, top dressed with a couple hand-fulls of worm castings at the end of the 5th week and have just been watering in, i think a light first fertigation with my flowering nutes will be next watering. I was hoping I wouldn't need extra cal mag but she's definitly looking for some, might grab a bottle to have on hand for growing under the LEDs
Never had a problem outside, and I'm thinking I'll keep playing around using one soil mix and just supplement the couple plants indoors than have two different soil mixes going. For now anyways

In other news I set up my seedling station in the other side of my tent, 15W blurple and a germ pad, dropped a seed last week, turned everything on, next day the little pot was almost hot to the touch,
if it were a cuppa tea it was still enjoyably warm to drink haha
Note: Germ pads up the ambient temp 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, used correctly...
Meaning with my tent already sitting around 27C
my poor little seed was probably about 45-50C
She cracked open but never grew, boiled alive
    20191204_114904.jpg

So thirds times the charm with the new tent
    Heat mat unplugged
    Day 1 today

Starting to eat some of the lower leaves this week, going to up the nutes next fertigation and see if it helps, it's time to just keep her happy and watch them buds swell up, Lots of nice sized pistil puff balls so far:eyebrows:let's see how this light does in flower, got a few more weeks yet.

7 days above soil for this pretty lady
She loved her life in the germ station:woohoo1:

Smooth transplant, splash of water to seal the deal, She looks on track to be even larger at two weeks, hope I can keep up the momentum:thumbsup:

busy week, fertigation was a couple days late, fan leaves have done their job though, buds are still fattening up:thumbsup: finally grabbed some cal/mag yesterday hope it isn't too late to help, was hoping I could get on without and that it was more just hydro guys but damn these new LEDs are hungry  I'll just keep her moving along to the finish, couple weeks to go.

2 weeks old for this little miss, another real quick gal :eyebrows: but she's growing quite differently than the first, almost no branching has started from the nodes this time.
    20191218_062711.jpg
    20191218_062724.jpg

I think it may be the greater light distance, the first plant I had up on all the foam blocks, only 26" from the light, Now both pots are right on the ground, 36" from the light
She is growing a little more like I'm used to outside, possibly Christmas-tree-like rather than a branchy bush.
Of course, it's real early and I'm just guessing haha, maybe it's just different phenos, or even just plants being plants:shrug:
    Happy growing everyone:pass:

    Zkittlez 9th week
  • Merry christmas everyone :bighug:
Update is a couple days late
Everything is just trucking along though doing her thing, watching them buds
    20191228_073424.jpg

    65 days old

And 23 days old for this one
    20191228_073513.jpg
    20191228_073532.jpg

Similar looking leaves at the start and the same slight purple tint on the fan stems but she is growing incredibly differently than the first, looking good though so I'm happy,

    Happy growing everyone
