how tall on average are your auto's getting ?

are there any techniques to manage vertical growth ? any strains known for low heights?

and which would be a better environment for me to work with ? a 2x2x5 or something lower like a 2x4x4 cloning tent ?

I'm not working with alot of room here but trying to do my best :peace:

Hiya Wook! How tall they are depends on the strain,i just had some pineapple express that were in the 30-36" range,my cobra was stunted and hit 12". You can use the LST -low stress training technique and tie them down-plant bondage lol. Are you going to have your fan and carbon filter inside the tent? They take up space as well as will your lights.I'd go 2x2x5 as then you can have your filter bungeed up into the top above your lights and still have plenty of headroom for the light and plant height. I work out of a 3x3x6 closet-my filter is up out of the way in the top corner and my T5's hang underneath it on a pulley system. What kind of lights u gona be runnin?

I will be using either a 4" or 6" system, but each of those carbon filters is less than 16" in length per given diameter.

the lights i decide upon are directly related to each grow environment I could use. if i do a shorter, longer tent I will use a 4 ft quantum T5 system, if I got for a small footprint but a taller tent I will use a 400w h.i.d. system.

I just got back from taking more accurate room measurements. Having an angled ceiling is what's giving me trouble here. it's a 45* angle and at the lowest point is 5'2" before the wall begins.

I have enough room to fit up to a 5'11" tall tent which is what I may settle on, Just wanted to get a good gauge for vertical height behavior. I understand it varies greatly from strain to strain and more importantly environment and conditions which it is cultivated... and I very well may see taller or shorter plants myself.

You can also control the height of your plants to a degree by the size pots you use. I've been using some for a long time that are about 2.5 gallon. While I have had some Mi5s get to 24" in that size, generally speaking most strains usually stay under 18".
