:yoinks::crisps: oh man, look at that swine bastard, he's an overstuffed sausage! He's eaten more chicken than I have all month-
beautiful pattern on him Hecno, and very healthy... I love the opalescent sheen they have. Was he grumpy and naughty, or too full to fuss much?

.....great coop mate, you could rent that here for about $1200/mo as a "studio apt."

Morning all , Hows the tomato plants coming along guys , I had to reseed , I started the first lot a bit early and the coped a fair bit of rain so I pulled them out and started again , I made my soil to hold water as the dry season is coming up . The lad mounded his soil which is different to mine more free draining , which he will have to water more later on down the track , other than that he is doing real well so far . The chicken Taj Mahal is nearly done I am just waiting for the hardware store to get more snake proof wire in .

Now his indoor plant is looking great it is just finishing up now , Not as big as mine but still looking very good , I left most of the last 3 weeks up to him with the feeding and I just gave him advice when he needed it .

I just want to say one thing about the Covid 19 isolation . For my family it has been a good thing . with the boys at home a lot more it has brought us even closer together , They both are finding out new old time skills by being outside more and my younger boy more so has learn't a lot more , he is more of a computer kid [ Games ect ] Now I have him chopping down trees with a chain saw and he helped me with the chicken house , he is also helping in the garden . These are things that are missing in a lot of young peoples lives , the ability to help your family in tough times . Don't get me wrong we still have our blues , mostly over who drank the last beer . :crying:

Sounds like a lot of fun in the Hecno household, with wild creatures snakes about. I rarely see them :( though when I do its tree snakes, all the valley has, apart from the rare carpet python. Chopping down some trees for sun also Hecno. Only had to lose the pine tree, but is sad as it had a huge Monkey Rope vine and the sad Tiger Blue Butterflies cant leave the roots alone. Tomatos yet to come into the ground and pots, i am slack, getting onto it lol

Right e ho all you tomato heads , here is my secret soil and NO I am not telling you what it is , all I will say it is 4 months in the making and consists of 3 types of soil blended into one . There are hints in my other thread . Plus I can't let my son beat me  :smoking:
