Black snakes are all I ever see round here. Watched this one trying to get in a birdhouse yesterday. Birds weren't having it :jointman:

You are more than welcome @Stylez2 mate . It is great to see the diversity of lands and climates of fellow members , This is what makes AFN such a great site . If you have a look at the -- outdoor photo thread , you will see we have a small tomato grow comp going -- all for fun -- and I love pickled cucumbers .

She got plenty now Waira . Well guys sad to say the tale has come to a end . The young fella gave up , There are a same good points . 1/ He built some soil , 2/ He saw first hand about how good his soil went [ not real good ] 3/ He understands the sun movement a lot better . But now I know he is one the right path . Took me a while to get him to have ago . The thing is the seed has been planted . Now hang on that is not the best bit . This is . If you look at the garden bed you will see the logs he used . It is hard wood - very - I cut them about 8 years ago - Cyclone Damage - and the still are very heavy , but they last for years . I was going to build in that spot and then he asked me for it , so I said yes , being a good dad that I am. So it is over and he said you can have the garden dad . :woohoo1::woohoo1::woohoo1:He dragged the bloody heavy logs , started the base soil , put a fence up , There is a lot of hard work in what he done , Guess what , I didn't do it . :cooldance::cooldance::cooldance: Now it is mine . :smoking: I had a feeling this was the way it would go . And no I did not rip him off , he ripped himself off - Silly Bugger .

:smoking: delicious lushness in there mate! ....reminds me to get that Marinara sauce recipe up in the Tom' thread... You have the basil, parsley, and tom's already!

Your lad, did he get tired of the care, or discouraged from the results? I hope he's still game, that learning curve won't be so steep next time!

looks great Hecno your vege garden, same here i got old logs i line the camellia tracks ( very old wattle - few years old), and has not rotted much, even though that area gets little sun during winter - good for the camella blooms esp white and pale pink flowers. I feel silly i have no idea what the plant is with the big black fruit, least your Son made an effort to try :baked:
