HBD AutoFem Seed Run w/a CS Reversal, 1st go at this...

Man, all things not as planned! I had another (the last one) HBD bean freeze up on me @ seedling stage. Really bumming out about the genetics I have chosen to breed. I have to see this through as I just cannot afford another order from a seed bank. I did write a few letters to the seed purveyors responsible for these strains. We shall see if Short Stuff and/or Original Sensible Seed Co's have any desire to keep their customers happy and growing. Herbies (loved them until I read their disclaimer that basically absolves them from any and all responsibilities regarding the viability of what they are selling. They say it is for prosperity or some sort of novelty or some such BS, I don't expect to hear from them on the matter.
While I appreciate the service and all these great genetics being available, the seed co.'s are getting a pretty penny from us and should stand by their wares. They are getting $10+ PER SEED, we've seen how many seeds a bush can produce. I feel they should back up the non-germs even if some ARE the growers fault, they can afford a few extra beans here and there. Maybe a bean trading site is in order...

Yikes, I sound mad bro! Not really, not taking it too hard, I have a breeding pair with another strain to throw in. I am a pollen chucker, fo sho's. Anyway, I did what I was thinking about and cut 4 clones from Mama Jacky. I'm putting these on veg lighting so if they start to flower we'll know they have auto in them. If nothing happens by the time they have some decent roots well.... then......that there will be a different story. One that will have to be created and perpetrated when the time is at hand.
I'm going waaaaaawasupaaaay outta my comfort zone with this one, need some backup out there! Anyone watchin' this shiite? I'm borderline mothereffing schizo, paranoid, freaked out goddern zombie!!!

Chillax brother Aku and smoke one. It will be OK, it always is! One way or another, you will get this handled. Stressing in a public forum is in itself, is not good. I understand you being upset, but have toke:Sharing One:and realize you got this! Chuckin pollen to get beans is fine, but dude, it will happen for ya. If anything, your plants feel the vibe and play em some good music.

Roger that. Just a small wig out there, all is well. I have never tried cloning before so this is all new to me. I have gone off in a direction I did not know I was going to travel.
On a good note, Herbie's is stepping up to take care of me as a customer! Won't mention what they did specifically but let it be known that Herbies autoflower seed bank truly cares about the customer and has excellent customer service. Better than most main stream companies! All my orders in the future will be through Herbie's.

Wow folks. I have to say Herbie's really came through. As bummed as I was with the genetics I purchased. My collection is going to be augmented with (drumroll please)............

Sweet Dark Devil
Bomb Berry Bomb

I will continue with what I am doing here but now it is more of an experiment instead of being as critical to finish as it was. I just can't say enough about how nice and accommodating Herbie's has been with me. They are super concerned with customer satisfaction and I am here to say- my collection acquisitions will be through Herbie's here on out and I HIGHLY recommend the use of their service by anyone looking to further their souvenir population.

On that note- I have a 38-40 day OSS Black JH that I think might be a photo as it has not shown any signs of pre-flowers as yet. It has been in 12/12 for several days now after a 24hr period of darkness.
I have four (4) cuttings that I hope will take root and become clones. These have been put back under a veg light for rime being to see if they flower outside of a 12/12 light schedule to see if they have auto genes in them.
Behind all that I have 2 Himalaya Blue Diesel plants about 2 weeks apart. These are still seedlings.
Lastly, I have a Delicious Cheese Candy in dirt after 3 days in a germ bag with no sign of a taproot. Not sure if she'll pop up or not.

My thoughts are this-
Skip the Black JH, let her flower be done with it. Even if she proves to be a she and auto, it took her soooo long to get there, unless the smoke gives me an orgasm, I don't think I want to perpetuate this.
I'm thinking I should reverse a HBD and pollinate the other HBD and the Cheese Candy, if she proves worthy and possibly one of the Black JH clones, if they pan out at all. Just for the seeds. Who knows, maybe it was a fluke seed and others, namely offspring, won't go that long and won't be as stubborn.

Then when the "gifts from the sky" fall in my lap, I will be comfortable running a couple IBL's on the SDDevil and BBBomb. Thus possibly leaving me with:

HBD (IBL) seeds
HBD x Cheese Candy seeds
HBD x Black JH seeds
Sweet Dark Devil (IBL) seeds
Bomb Berry Bomb (IBL) seeds

At which point I will def. have to grow some out for the bag, to share and to test on my friends that medicate. From there, the skies the limit with the breeding. I will chase down a purple Indica and a purple medical strain through crosses and back crosses.

Helluva hobby this growing innit?

Well we can scratch the Cheese Candy cross off the list. Little sucker never even showed a little taproot. I germed it in a bag for 2 days then put it in dirt on the odd chance it might like that better and nope, nothing. There is good news to report however...

I'm 99% sure I found a pre-flower on Jacqueline!

WooHoo! After better than a month, am I crazy? Is this normal? I thought they (I know they are all different but) mostly showed some booty around day 15-20? I believe she is on day 31. If I'm right, I see two little whitish hairs in a V shape coming from the top node, in like the armpit of where new growth is happening. Now, should I attempt to reverse her? I don't think I will because I don't really want a plant that goes that long, or do I? It didn't really get big or anything for the time she spent in veg. Is there any other reason to or not to? I was thinking I could pollinate 1/2 a HBD plant and use the other half to run the IBL. I may have to ask in a thread but is it possible to pollinate a plant (or suggested) with two different pollens? Don't see why it wouldn't work but there again, this is my 3rd plant, 2nd auto. So I'm no Canna-geneticist by any stretch.
I am going to let her go another day or two to be certain that is in fact her junk I'm seeing then, hopefully someone here will have chimed in and helped me decide the best course of action. Thought this day would never come. Now the question, if her clones make it, will they also show me the goods even though they are under veg lighting.....
muhahahhahahaha feelin' like Dr. Frankenstein.

I keep forgetting about the clones I cut from this Black JH. They are looking pretty good, hopefully they make it. If they do, I can pollinate one or all of them for seed. And not worry about reversing Jacky. I'll just keep on keepin' on as planned and when I reverse the 1st HBD plant for pollen I will take some right on over to the clones. That way I can have my cake and eat it too!

I know its been a minute since my last update...
Two of my 4 clones took root. My 4th Himalaya Blue Diesel seedling bit the dust. The one (1) HBD plant that lived of 5 germed just showed me her junk today. Have to look back and see how old she is today. Anyway, I finally get to use the colloidal silver spray I made, WooHoo! Squirt, squirt and done. I gave her a full strength 1st spray but I think I'm going to cut the solution, it ended up 34 ppm. I thought I would go 50/50 with distilled water and ramp up if needed. Spraying twice a day. So soon we should have some HBD pollen! Yaaay.
On another note, my Auto Black JH that was not an auto (that I took clones from) either got nute burn (didn't think I overfed her) or is being burned by the light, they are not strong but are close because of where I am growing, not sure which, anyone care to throw a guess? Pics to come, thanks.

I have a volunteer ladybug! So the 1st is obviously the sprayed HBD day 1 of reversal. The pics after the ladybug show the damage to Jacky, my "auto" (that never autoed) Black JH. I'm guessing its lockout and deficiencies because the 3 finger leaves look as if they have been consumed, turning yellow and dieing.
I have since did some flushing with just pHed water as I will do again and again. Anything else I should do to take care of this? How do I know she's good to give her food again? Help!

So the 1 HBD plant that made it showed sexy parts on day 29. She is now on day 3(?) of being sprayed with CS for reversal. Jacky, my Auto that didn't auto, is in full flower mode. Small white little hairs popping up from budsites. I guess my 1st go at a cross will be HBD x Black JH. Neither of which I would have chose to propagate. We make do with what we have don't we. I will cross these for knowledge, grow out a few and see if they auto. The clones I took from Jacky are still in veg lighting. I am wanting them to flower there to prove their "autoness". Right now they have just recovered from the process, they have healthy roots and have begun to grow. I have cloned what is supposed to be an auto. We shall see if they flower in veg lighting. If not I'm going to have some interesting seed mixes from my cross, fer sure.
Still waiting on a replacement set of beans to drop from the sky. When they do, I am going to start on 2 more IBL seed runs. Sweet Dark Devil and Berry Bomb. Both have VERY purple tendencies!
