Indoor has anyone ever tried !!!!!

ok, talking about autoflowers.. lets say u take 2 ladies into flower... one, you put in flower 12/12...one, you put in flower 18/6 or 20/4... did any one grow better? produce better, smell better, taste better...has anyone ever tried this??

any help would be great..

I'm using this lighting setup right now..I've got 2 BF auto little cheese's. one lady is in 12/12 any the other lady is in 20/4..

sounds like it will be an interesting little experiment. I too have wondered just how much extra yield is gained from the longer hours of light. Whilst genetic factors will also come into play as the plants will be from different seeds it will still be interesting to watch the differences in development of genetically "similar" plants.

Based on what I've seen with outdoor plants that get 12 - 14 hours a day and indoors plants getting 20, the indoor yields always exceed the outdoor by at least 30%. Buds are bigger and tighter indoors.

I've grown autos under every "time" there is....as Muddy pointed out, yu will see a difference in yeild....but I have never noted any difference in smell/taste/potency....that is all determined by HOW it's grown and cared for ...and dried and cured....Since I only grow for ME, I have no prob with less yeild that I get under 12/12 but do enjoy the bigger buds under 18/6 during weather when I can make use of cooler temps....
My attempts at outside grows were usually problematic because of pest whcih reduced health & yeild significantly...I now ONLY grow inside in a tent when small plants and fair yeilds are my norm....

thanks for the replies,,, I do see more growth with the 20/4.. they are in there 2nd week of flower now..

20/4 showing little pistols all over the nodes..
12/12 showing pistols on the nodes just not every where...

so as of today I would say the 20/4 is winning so far.. man i love me some auto flower...:buds:
