Nutrients Harvest Gold Silica trial test: Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel in a 2-Liter Soda Bottle

Yeh, you're right. She has some chronic but minor yellowing around the veins of her major fan leaves (maybe a little cal-mg def from the AutoCob?) but otherwise is doing quite well. She is actually 42 days old today and well into her early bloom phase.

Here's a quick update for you all. :toke:

Any visible growth differences between the HGS vs non HGS plant? Healthier?
It can be hard to tell much difference from these pictures, looking down, at day 28 for each. But I would say that the HGS is showing a slight advantage. The issue is phenotype variations among the three plants, even though they are the same strain from the same seed-packet. I think perhaps we'll see more evident differences as the plants age more.

To really be a fair and informative test, I think I'd want at least 8 plants of the same strain (that germ at approximately the same time) so that I'd have 4 with and 4 without the HGS. Unfortunately, I did not have that much available growing capacity at this time.

It's been a week, and a lot of growth has happened. All 3 are now in flower mode. Normally, I like to show them at the same relative age. But today. lets look at them as they are with their age differences. Here they are lined up:

Some observations: Doro on the fall right (with HGS) is 17 days younger than Nora on the far left (without HGS). Both were vigorous germinators and early sprouts. Assuming that Doro fills out more over the next couple of weeks, she's going to be significantly bigger than her older sister. Is this a Harvest Gold Silica difference ?? Could well be.

But then look at Golda in the middle. She was almost still-born, for the first 10 days after showing the cotyledons, she did absolutely nothing. It was a week and a half before she started growing. But now look, she's much taller than Nora. Another difference due to Harvest Gold Silica ?? Could well be.

Its two more days for Dora; she is now 37. Here's how Dora and the others all looked when each was 37 days old. From the side:

Greetings folks, here's an update (side and top photos) of what each plant looked like at 44 days old.

All are doing well, healthy leaves and stems. Don't be fooled by the leaf color in these photos -- differences are a function of the photos being taken at different days under different lighting conditions. However, the two gals with HGS are significantly taller than Nora. This is hard to see with these shots that show relative age. Here is the summary of the growth:
The youngest, Doro at day 44, is 32.5 inches tall. Her older HGS sister, Golda is currently 59 days old and stands at 31.5 inches tall. And the oldest, Nora without any HGS, is currently 61 days old and just 24" tall. That's a pretty significant difference, I think. :smoking:
:bump:

Here's an update on how all three looked this morning, day 65 for Nora, 63 for Golda and just 48 for Doro. I took height measurements a couple of days ago; they were: Nora 24", Golda 31.5" and Doro 32.5".

Observations:

Nora, the oldest and the one without HG Silica, has the more abundant bud development at this point. She is healthy, but she is also the shortest by far.

Golda, the mutant who had a delayed development does have HG Silica. The last few days she seems to be "maturing" fast -- her leaves are turning pale and starting to drop off. She's got nice bud development, but not as full as Nora -- perhaps because her delayed development set her back in this regard .. ??

And then there's the HGS amended Doro, the youngest of the group, the tallest and the one with the greatest potential to be a real beauty.

Dora has potential but Nora is best of the older two imo. But I have a thing for short structure plants lol

I agree, Nora has good structure and the heaviest load of buds, despite the lack of Harvest Gold Silica amendment. We'll see how Doro looks when she gets the additional 17 days of growth that Nora has over her. Thanks for following here, and sharing your opinions.
