Indoor Hardon's First AFN Grow - Fast Buds West Coast OG GLR SCROG

Sorry bro I got nothing on that. I'll look for some answers. Have agreat weekend dude.

Cheers dude! Home now and the girls have gotten BIG whilst I've been away

I think they might even have lost their heads by the next update!

Cheers,
Hardon

Cheers for the input dude. I considered a Phosphorus deficiency before but I was only getting the spots on the leaves? The red stems seem to be the best indicator of phosphorus def which I don't have....

Good news is it hasn't gotten any worse whilst I was away over the weekend  So it's been been something with the pot or it was a slight calcium or magnesium deficiency which the Cal-Mag has corrected.

Thanks for dropping in man!

Cheers,
Hardon

My 100th AFN post :woody: And as you can see, the girls have been making excellent progress!

And one to show scale...

They reacted extremely well to the first full strength feed and have really taken off now. The main stem has a good thickness which proves all the attention to the roots has paid off  However all this growth comes at a price and we could be in for a seriously overgrown tent if we don’t restore some order in there....

I think we can safely say order has been restored :tang:

They each got bent over, tied the fuck down and got their heads chopped off (at the fifth node for those interested). I was originally going to top them at the fourth node but decided an extra node gives me a little extra scope to work with. This way I can lose any underperforming branches in a weeks time.

The issues with #3 seem to be resolved. The leaves haven’t got any worse nor has it spread like it did before. I would love to know for sure what this is though. #4 showed her lady bits a few days ago and the rest showed yesterday (#3 has only just begun to show, barely) so we have a full house of (now headless) ladies

They got fed today with 5ml Grow and a spoonful of molasses and the lamp is now 6 inches away from the tops which seems to be the sweet spot for light spread across the tent. Temps and RH have been bang on with the lights out temps down to 18 degrees. I’ve ordered up a second tube heater and am going to get the screen installed over the next few days. I’m thinking a heater below the screen and one above the screen should help keep the temps right...

#3 has become the leader of the bunch with #2 and #4 battling hard for 2nd place. #1 isn't that far behind the rest and it's always the runt of the pack that ends up being the superstar :headbang: Expect a lot more bondage action and possibly a new SCROG screen by the next update...

I’ve been thinking about my next grow and have decided to go with either a single Dutch Passion Auto-Ultimate or a single Fast Buds Six Shooter in a SCROG in the biggest AP I can fit in the tent in my attempt to get as close to the GPW as I can. I’ve see GPW grows in soil before but they have always been under at least a 1,000w HPS so I don’t know if it is even possible under 400w. I guess we’ll know by April next year...

Regardless of the GPW, it will serve as the perfect warm-up for the EPIC AFN GLR grow off battle with Roark. Just wait to you see what strain we are running with!

And wallets at the ready because GLR grow off merchandise will soon be available folks! My own Hardon cologne is due to hit the shelves soon....

Looking great! Plants look happy. I had similar spots as you on one leaf in my current grow. I thought it might be calcium def in my case so I added in some cal-mag but it never spread beyond the one leaf. I don't think the cal-mag had much to do with it as it still got a little worse after adding cal-mag it just never spread. I've seen it on previous grows as well, a leaf here and there with brown spots but I haven't completely figured out the root cause. It doesn't seem to slow the plant down, fortunately.

Do you feed them full strength nutes every watering? I don't think my plants could take that. I usually stick around 60-80% of full strength. I feed them 2.5l every 3 days.

Couldn't you find any more phallic looking bottles for your cologne? Not sure if I'm manly enough to sport a dildo shaped cologne named hardon
