Dutch Passion Hans’ Dutch Passion LED Coco Autopot Grow – Think Different / AutoBlueberry

Coco Autopots and TD! :)

Loving it!! How do you guage when it's the right time to put the Auto pots on? When the plant reaches the same height as the pot or before?

I'm up for a little "automation" :)
Hey blue, thanks for checking in.

With the Autopots I've just been waiting until end of 3rd week to turn them on, based on advice from Duggy. With some plants it would probably be okay to turn on after 2 weeks but by 3 it's pretty much a given that the roots are fully established.

I think you would like these Autopots blue... it's really quite a simple system, all I have to do is fill up the res once a week. And with the pH perfect nutes it keeps the pH stable for at least a week so couldn't get much easier than this lol.

Hello Hans, I'm in, better late than never. The plants look great and I like the autopots, sometimes the tents are like a ball and chain. Your results just keep getting better, I'm sure the switch to coco will be a winner.

Hey VG thanks for tagging along. Yeah the Autopots are a must for me with all the travelling I do. Really liking the coco too, was expecting a bit of a learning curve at first but everything's going smoothly so far. :Sharing One:

I think i'd like em too!!

What i'd be really interested in, (only if you get a moment) - seeing as you got off to such a flying start, would be your watering method and application from seedling to week 3 when you turn the autopot on! :)

I'm certain that the most tricky part of growing an auto is the first 2 weeks, and if you get that right .. you're onto an almost certain winner! :)

Wow Hans, I take a few days off to go on a biit of a drive and return to find now you have full blown plants. I too am curious about those first "pre" auto waterings. I have read that the coco always feels a little dry, so do you water based on the weight of the whole pot?

Thanks for the fun show so far. Riverdude.

Here's my feeding schedule up to today:
I watered both pots initially with about 500ml of 5.7 pH water with a bit of voodoo juice (1ml/L).
Day 5 I gave them their first good watering (about 1.5L each) with 1/8th strength nutes plus voodoo juice.
Day 11 they got just a light watering with 1/6th strength nutes + voodoo.
Day 14 they received another 1.5L each with 1/4 strength nutes + voodoo.
Today, Day 19 they got a full watering till runoff with nutes at 1.5ml/L.
Also I add cal/mag supplement to every watering since I use RO water. Which I start at 1ml/L and get up to 2-3ml by full flower.

And yeah Riverdude, I water based on weight of the pot.

Update to follow shortly.

Update - Day 19

Was going wait till tomorrow to update but there's been plenty of growth last 4 days and had to give them another feeding anyway. I also turned on the Mars LED so they both have their own light now, will be turning on the Autopots in the next day or two... As of today both plants have shown sex now also. TD currently at 8", ABB at 5".

Wow, very nice bro. That TD is something else.

Bro they look freaking amazing! Tell me Hans how do you make the pics large and fit in the post so you don't have to click on it? I always use the Insert image but i cant make it look like your pics.
An explanation of how to do it would be highly appreciated bro! :)
