Dutch Passion Hans’ Dutch Passion LED Coco Autopot Grow – Think Different / AutoBlueberry

Hey Riverdue, thanks for the kind words and for honoring me with your first post  I'm jealous of all these States going legal, I wish Canada would follow suit but our current government has actually made things worse unfortunately....

Anyways, you'll like the Autopots, they work great and make things easier. I'd recommend getting the airdomes too if you want to maximize yield. Think Different is supposed to be really easy to grow and newbie friendly too so should be good for you. I would suggest starting a journal in the New Growers section once you get your grow started, you'll get lots of help there. Feel free to PM me also if you have any questions later on.

Hansbricks, coco and Think Diff., that will be interesting.

Airdomes with airpots? Something that works?

You do not use AN coco nutrients?

Good luck, looks very well at the beginning.

Hey Gonzo,
Yes I think this TD grow should be interesting indeed :smoke: It's growing faster than any plant I've done before... and I'm already liking coco more than soil, I like having total control over feeding/nutrients.

Not sure if you misread that, I use the airdomes with the Autopots, not airpots. Or are you asking if you think they would be beneficial in airpots too?

Yup just using the AN GMB nutes, not the coco specific ones. They say it's good for all mediums including coco. Still on the same 1L bottles I've had since I started about 1.5 years ago... I'll be switching to the Sensi Grow/Bloom line after I use these up tho, probably by next grow.

Thanks for stopping by man :tiphat:
I've been watching your TD's closely, hope they fatten up nicely for you

I thought you were using aipots so it sounded very strange.

Coco is my next step too, but I will try it in one pot only besides Plagron. In airpot as usual. I was thinking about using Sensi grow/bloom for coco as well, but they have special coco line too.

Did you water with plain water at the beginning? Ive read that coco demands feeding and calmag from the day 1, because of the nature of this media. Your TD started very, very well, thats whyI am curious about your feeding, because most obviously you have done it just right.

Good luck!

Thanks man. Yeah I've seen their coco nutes which seem pretty good but since the Sensi line is good for all mediums I'll stick with that in case I change my mind about coco lol.

As for my feeding schedule, I do give that info in my regular updates... but to recap:
I watered both pots initially with about 500ml of 5.7 pH water with a bit of voodoo juice (1ml/L). Then on Day 5 I gave them their first good watering (about 1.5L each) with 1/8th strength nutes plus voodoo juice.
Also I add the cal/mag supplement to every watering since I use RO water. Which I start at 1ml/L and get up to 2-3ml by full flower.

Hope that helps.

Update - Day 15

The TD continues to grow at record pace, definitely the biggest plant I've had at this age. It's already double the size of the ABB, which is still looking just fine though... I can tell she's going to be a dense little bush

Haven't seen pistils on either yet but should be any day now. I gave them another light feed yesterday with 1/4 strength nutes. Height of TD is 6", ABB at 3".

Hey bro, thanks for checking out the grow.
Here's a link to the Autopot Brochure which explains how the systems works, the biggest difference tho is it doesn't require any pumps or timers. Also it's a bottom feed system instead of top feed like a drip setup, this is also why the Airdomes are so effective with this system.
