Hi Hans, been reading through this diary a few times to help myself out, very helpful, thanks. I'm a new grower attempting my second grow, but this time with a couple of LEDs (DormGrow 240W and Mars Hydro 190W UFO), in coco, perlite and clay, and autopots same as you. I have a couple of questions for you (if you don't mind) - I'm in day 14 and my plants look nothing like yours! What temps and humidity were you running, especially in the beginning few weeks? Was it ever a problem for you? I'm in a 60x60x140cm tent, which I know is a little small, growing three plants. Two in autopots (240W LED) and one in a normal pot (190W UFO). Temps are 26-29c usually lights on, and 40-50%RH, although I've got a mister set that raises it to around 60% once an hour, before it falls again.

Also, I note how you watered the plants with 1.5L of water at the start for their first watering - how did you manage this without overwatering the plants? I have overwatered a couple of mine just from giving them about 100ml of water so have to just feed them around 40/50ml with a syringe in a little circle around the plants!

Sorry for the noobiness and long winded post

Thanks, and great job on the grow it looks incredible! :smoking:

Hey @milkmann welcome to AFN and thanks for checking out my grow. Your set up sounds good man... hopefully I can help sort out what the problem might be.

My temps / humidity vary a bit depending on the time of year, like for my current grow my humidity has only been 20-30% and temps around 22-25°C. I don't run a humidifier and honestly have never been concerned with low humidity as it's never been a problem. With LED's you can run around 30% humidity for entire grow cycle just fine, you can also run higher temps than normal and actually temps of 28-30 are ideal for LEDs. So your current temps and humidity are pretty much perfect now so don't think that's your problem imo.

As for my initial feedings/watering... had to look back at what I did for this grow because honesty I just wing it a bit each grow :p So, for this one I did...
Here's my feeding schedule up to today:
I watered both pots initially with about 500ml of 5.7 pH water with a bit of voodoo juice (1ml/L).
Day 5 I gave them their first good watering (about 1.5L each) with 1/8th strength nutes plus voodoo juice.

Day 11 they got just a light watering with 1/6th strength nutes + voodoo.
Day 14 they received another 1.5L each with 1/4 strength nutes + voodoo.
Today, Day 19 they got a full watering till runoff with nutes at 1.5ml/L.
Also I add cal/mag supplement to every watering since I use RO water. Which I start at 1ml/L and get up to 2-3ml by full flower.

So you can see when I did the first feed with 1.5L each I didn't do another good watering until 9 days after that with just a small watering in between (probably 200-300ml). So the medium was definitely getting pretty dry with that much time between... I'm a bit curious as to why you think your over-watering yours? (what symptoms are you seeing?) Firsty, coco is a very forgiving medium and almost impossible to really over-water. Also if you've just been giving them 100ml or less into a 15L pot that should certainly not cause any over-watering symptoms, seems more like that would be under-watering. What nutes are you using and what have you been feeding so far? Could be you haven't been giving them enough nutrients... Coco has nothing in it so they need some N right from the start. You can see I add cal/mag supplement to every watering (including initial pre-planting watering) which has a bit of N in it, and I start feeding grow nutes by day 5.
