i should of said mine stay on 24/7 because my lights are on 24/7.and i have never heard anyone say they turn theres off when lights out

Sorry, but this is not correct. Airdomes should only be used during lights-on, there is no benefit to running them in the dark, may actually be detrimental as all it will do is to help dry out the soil/increase nutrient concentration in the medium.

Seems like the creators were worried about temperature at the root zone being affected by the air pump running during lights out. I'm thinking because they thought the air being pumped in would be cooler? If that is the case it would not apply in my case because my air pump doesn't sit inside the tent with the lights and would be pumping in room temp air all the time.

It is an odd bit of advise. . . . . . From my days in pond keeping . . . . We used to fool around with measuring delivery air temperatures from various airpumps . . . . . As anyone who has commandered a bicycle pump can attest to, compressed air gets warm, very warm, very quickly . . . . . . Depending on the type of air pump, back pressure and length of delivery line, a temperature increase of 10-25 C from supply air is quite normal, measured 1m from pump outlet. . . . . .

I have 18 airdomes, and the thought of cold air playing with 'em roots has never crossed my mind. . . . . Unless someone's airpump is homed in arctic conditions, there ain't much chance of frostbitten feet, me thinks . . . . . . Lol

Good info there @Corgy, I can't see where it would hurt to leave them running inside 24/7. There might be some major temp difference outside in a greenhouse but inside I can't see it. It would be like saying turn off your reservoirs during lights out because the temp of your water might be cooler.

Got my shipping notice saying I should have my system by next Wednesday. So then I can try it for myself. Getting excited about trying this now. I should try some genetics I know but I'm dying to try out some of these FastBuds LSD-25s I have.

Hey guys got my air pots today set them up I used promix hpcc it has coco coir in it instead of perlite I used growstones I think I would like to make sure im using the system right etc before starting a journal

Yeah bro I was asking... That smell sounds pleasant lol. Mines definitely putting out some funk already, have a feeling my filter will be overpowered soon...
