Indoor hairymans The good, bad and ugly perpetual grow

Looks like the https:// is showing in the text for the link but then the actual link is only http:// , have found since a few site upgrades back all http:// links ask you to again login even though you're logged in on the https:// site.

This should be the correct link to the thread in your signature with the https:// added ;)

have you tried any high cbd strains, IPCBD works pretty good on my wear and tear arthritis and shoos depression out the door and locks it:pass:

I haven't ,,,though I will have to try now , thanks for tip:biggrin:,

@hairyman - also bud....consider trying some Green Dragon Tincture for your pain and for depression...the effect of Green Dragon can be astonishingly effective(at least for me). If you can get high test(150 proof or higher) booze like everclear i would highly advise trying some out. For my upper neck injury, toking does not touch the pain, but provides solid psychological effect. But tincture is a whole other world of effect. Taking high doses I have had effects ranging from "forced to sleep", to heart pounding super high feelings, to happy euphoric floating feelings. Different strains cause different effects, and strength of effect.

Hi pal, the green Dragon tincture is one of the alternatives I've considered makeing , In fact I sure I have a link to a thread which you did on making it,,

I have had good effects from 1:1 cbd/thc strains as well. Great body effects without too much psychoactivity, especially effective in tincture. You can high dose 1:1 tincture, and it impacts my pain in a very positive way.

Just a few pic of my 2lt girl ,,,

My germ rate is pretty piss poor at moment , can only put it down to lower temps and using recycled soil ,,might have to get some new soil just to start them off in ,but I should get 2sq ft up,,,, anyways some pics ,,,

sorry about your germination woes. I lost about 1/2 my seed last season to damping off. I kept planting
That's what I have done ,, I have been hit at times with this damping off ,, I never seem to have it in virgin soil though or should I say as much ,, this for me seems a seasonal problem as well,, the ones that have come up and made it will be stronger I guess :pass:

I use recycled soil now mixed with good stuff but I make a small pocket in the top of the soil and put a high quality seed soil mixed with 20% Coco/vermiculite in it. I then germ the seed in that. Only needs a handful of soil, so a small bag cost has lasted about 12 grows and has about 20 grows left in the bag.

Hi @hairyman & et all, sorry for the interjection but, if you have too reuse old growing mediums

The number one rule, if using old/used mediums is sterilisation! I used to work in a plant breeding institute many years ago and we could not produce consistent results unless ALL medium's were sterilised! Yes, seasonal variations can be a factor depending on where about's you live and grow/weather conditions etc. (those we put down to chance!)

I always throw my old growing mediums into the garden compost heap!

If you wish for better luck, may I suggest:

Heating an oven to 120c and placing small quantities of the used medium in an oven proof container for 30-45 mins? Obviously you will have to rehydrate the medium afterwards and adjust base nutrients but, all pathogens should be dead?

Many thanks for the info pal and stopping by,,if I steralise a small amount and use that as @Rollin_along suggests :d5:

Your past job sounds very intresting :pop::coffee:
I have been composting in a tote bin with my exhaust from the tent going into it, it does help heat it up and compost faster but obviously not enough :woohoo1:,I guess I could microwave some  as an alternative to oven .
